POWER TRAIN
I purchased my vehicle from Mak Haik Chevrolet 11711 Katy Fwy. Houston, TX 77079 on [XXX]. Approximately 4 months my Check Engine Light came on and I brought my Truck to Mak Haik Chevrolet to have it checked out. The Service Department could not figure out why the Check Engine Light had came on. They did complete the Recall N242435631 regarding a need to update the radio and serial communication firmware on my truck. On Saturday November 9th 2024, I brought my truck into Mak Haik Chevrolet for the 2nd oil change at approximately 10,000 miles, and the technician could not get the truck to go into reverse. I was given a loaner vehicle and told that they would contact me about the issue once their transmission technician could look my truck on Monday. I was contacted on Monday November 11th2024, and told that the Valve Body in the transmission was defective. Jim Cox, Service Advisor with Mak Haik Chevrolet, explained that he could not find the part, as this is a big issue with Chevrolet across the Country, and he would let me know when he has access to the part. I asked about replacing the transmission instead, and Jim explained that he could not get those in either? Mak Haik Chevrolet has had my truck since November 9th, 2024. The contact stated while driving at 55 MPH, the upper arm failed, and the tire detached from the vehicle. The contact stated he pulled over to the left side of the road and replaced the tire. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed but the cause was unknown. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

my vehicle suddenly experienced decreased acceleration on the highway. A warning message appeared on the dashboard indicating reduced acceleration. When placing the vehicle in Reverse, the vehicle was not able to move in reverse. The dealership diagnosed it as a valve body needing replaced.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The dashboard fails and stops working, the shift to park wont engage and the key is not working to start the car. I have reported it to the dealer and to GM and they refuse to acknowledge the issue. The Feldman service person says it will eventually be a recall and will not help until then. They wont even let me pay to have it fixed they wont acknowledge it at all.

THE TRUCK FAILED GO SHIFT INTO REVERSE. HAD TO PUSH THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE PARKING SPACE. WHEN I TRIED TO GO FORWARD THE VEHICLE SHUTTERED AND THEN SHIFTED INTO LIMP MODE. DEALERSHIP HAS HAD THE TRUCK FOR OVER 8 WEEKS NOW AND I AM TOLD THERE IS A NATIONAL BACK-ORDER ON THE NEW VALVE BODY BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF TRUCKS REQUIRING REPLACEMENTS.

First incident was when the vehicle had under 7,000 miles. Transmission module went. Vehicle wouldn't move. A few months prior, when we pulled our camping trailer, the integrated brake didn't work and the truck brakes overheated. Took vehicle to dealer, couldn't find a problem. A few months later the truck would not move, and found to be the transmission module. After a month and they finally got the part and repaired, no problems with pulling the camper. Than last week, we pulled out on the road, and we couldn't accelerate. A little over 45,000 miles on it. Had towed to dealer, they have diagnosed Transmission Valve Body. No warning lights. Maybe the transmission was hesitating some before it went. Waiting for the part, which no clue how long it will take.

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated while driving 55-60 MPH, the rear wheels seized. The contact had to release the accelerator pedal to self-correct the failure. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V797000 (Power Train); but was repaired. The contact stated while driving 25-30 MPH after the repair, the failure reoccurred a third time. The check engine warning light illuminated and the “Engine Power Reduced” message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, Chevrolet of Montebello (310 W Whittier Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640); but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was 122,000.

After using remote start on 2015 Silverado to start on a cold day 27 degrees F as soon as I put my key in the back window shattered and the window was smoking. Cab was filled with smoke and needed to put the key in to stop the truck.

This 2017 Silverado 2500HD LT L5P is showing limited distance with an error message of "DEF FLUID EMPTY" when it is not. There are no codes for DEF (the only codes are showing glow plugs, NOX1, and the Body Control Module). The truck will permit REGEN but not DEF fluid quality or pressure tests. Pin 14 displays 0v (empty). Five months ago the DEF pump was replaced with a NEW pump.

The auxiliary transmission fuel pump system is prone to failure. This makes it so the start/stop feature will not work, as the vehicle will stall when stopped (causing an unsafe situation), and it cannot pass state inspection. The part is entirely unavailable from Chevy, and results in the vehicle being scrapped. There is no way to permanently bypass this system.

2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 8L90 transmission failure at 40,000 miles and I am now at 90,000 miles with the same issue. I have been working on this truck tirelessly tried to fix the transmission. I’ve had 3 transmission fluid replacements and a full torque converter replacement. General Motors knowingly sold these models to consumers when the transmission was faulty and underperforming. It shudders, shakes, and slips while driving. It’s almost caused me to get into a few accidents. I just want compensation and to be a part of the class action lawsuit they are being filed upon. When put in drive and start driving as I start going it won’t shift and takes longer than normal when finally shifts it’s to hard and truck jumps a lot as if had hit a bump with rear tires, Also while driving in highway truck vibrates to much have already try new tires new rims and different parts of suspension to solve issues but continues to do the same.

2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 severe frame rot drivers side front left from cab to rear wheel potential for snapping with holes of rot throughout also right side starting have had truck for 1.5 years which cost 11,000 dollars GM should be held accountable as I have read hundreds if not thousands of other Chevrolet truck owners with this issue, there was a recall for failure to add some type of rust prevention which issue would have been way past that stage GM is aware of this and fails to do anything about it, this is going to cost about 2500.00 to repair frames should not rot out like this what will it take before something is done about it 100,s of deaths due to fatal accidents the average person may not know about this as they may never go under their truck Thank You [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

AIR BAGS
Driving down the road under 40mph and headliner airbags deployed without an accident. The dash and steering wheel bags DID NOT deploy however the headliner bags deployed for no reason.
