Navigation is a feature of the MMI that requires a license activation using SVM. The process is handled by the gateway and the MMI inside the vehicle. In some instances, the feature can be affected if the gateway is placed into ?Component Protection Showroom Mode? or if the gateway and MMI lose communication with each other. As a result, either the license activation must be performed again online using SVM or the component protection removal must be performed.
