I have been driving my car since 2016, however since Nov 24, 2023. Incidents that alarm me have happen. I have filed a police report but don't have the funds to get vehicle swept. All of these events occur while I am driving. Passenger windows goes up in and down a lot. Static in my speakers. Steering wheels lock. somethings draining my battery. though I have ensured nothings on or there isn't any short fuses. Doors unlock. Door beeps though someone has had access. Trunk pops open. I am reaching out to NHTSA because my safety is at risk. Is any other Corolla owners reporting this. Please assist me.

The fuel gauge suddenly malfunctioned giving a false reading of the amount of fuel remaining in the tank. A technician said that the problem seems to be with the sending unit in the tank. I use top tier gas and the car has only about 29,800 miles. The fuel gauge continues to malfunction and could be a generic design flaw. Safety could be put at risk if the vehicle ran out of fuel while driving in traffic. There were no warning lights, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.

I discovered that my 2020 Toyota Corolla SE has a Coolant Valve Bypass malfunction coded "p2688115". I have also discovered this a prevalent issue after you hit 70,000 miles. There are forums all over the internet with complaints about the same issue as mine. I did some research and found no recalls. With this being such a common issue for no reason, faulty equipment. The car has been inspected by a Toyota dealer in Bradenton, FL because we had thought the service vehicle message was for a tire rotation. They scanned the vehicle and discovered the fault code "p2688115" after trying to reset it numerous times. The senior tech was the one who scanned it. He knew the exact reason why it was not clearing before scanning the vehicle. He only scanned it to solidify his hypothesis. I then spoke to the service team, they wanted me to bring it in for a diagnosis that would cost $85.00 if my warranty did not cover it. The cost of the part was estimated at around $150.00 plus labor and taxes. It was over a $400.00 repair. For a repair as such, this needs to be recalled. The warning message never went away, if you tried to clear it to view the screen you had about three seconds before it came back on. It is a major safety risk for those who wear glasses and drive at night. I use the screen to keep myself safe and maintain my driving speed. This warning message came on around 70,000. Some so many other individuals have experienced and complained about the same problem. This needs to be escalated. I am not allowed to utilize the safety features my car has to offer. Please take action and commence an investigation.

After I had brought a my car to the dealer for its oil change and tire rotation, a warning message came from my car saying "Engine Maintenance Required". After checking with my dealer, they said that the coolant bypass valve needed to be replaced. After checking online, it seems that this is a common problem for recent Toyota vehicles.

The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, though the steering itself did not move, the vehicle began to jerk and sway left to right, causing the contact to spin out and veer into the next lane. As a result, the vehicle collided with a semi-truck on the passenger side of the vehicle. The collision with the semi-truck sent the vehicle careening, clipping another passenger vehicle before coming to a complete stop on the shoulder of the roadway. The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. An occupant of the other passenger vehicle bumped her head in an undisclosed location, and the contact was unaware if medical treatment was sought. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard pending review by the contact's insurance provider. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 28,000.

Experiencing a high-pitched whining/ringing sound from the air conditioning system. It is highly distracting and irritating, and basically prevents the use of some fan speed settings for extended durations due to the pain it causes. Many other Corolla owners are experiencing the same issue and Toyota refuses to take action in every case, saying the problem is "characteristic of the vehicle" or something to that effect. Issue is well-documented in this forum thread among other places. [XXX] See in particular post [XXX] for objective evidence of the sound and a probable root cause analysis. A particular chip resonates at about 15.7 kHz. I encourage you to put that frequency into an online tone generator to get an idea of the problem, although for some people, especially those who are older, sounds this high are inaudible like a dog whistle. My 2005 Toyota Corolla airbags have been recalled AT LEAST TWICE already(?) and I have been to the dealer at least twice, for airbag recall repairs. Guess what? The red dashboard airbag light came on AGAIN! I took the 2005 Corolla to the Toyota dealer and the dealer announced that I have to pay for the latest airbag warning ⛔️ dashboard light problem. Since the airbag is an obvious “problem area” for Toyota, and I never have used the airbags…I feel this latest “airbag problem” should be fixed, by Toyota for free. Toyotas infamous and repeated “airbag problem’” has reappeared… yet again! I don’t have the exact date and time the airbag warning light reappeared (again) and there was never an accident where the airbags were deployed, or a certain speed at which the warning light suddenly comes on. The airbag warning light is on 99% of the time. I also don’t have the mileage at which the airbag warning light reappeared (again) but there is currently approximately 146,000 miles on the 2005 car. Since I have NEVER USED the 2005 Corollas airbag and Toyota has a systematic, widespread, & REPEATEDLY fixed problem with this airbag, I wonder why should I have to pay for airbag repairs?
