SummaryDRIVE SHAFT BOOT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION If a Drive Shaft (Axle Shaft) Boot on an APPLIED VEHICLE is found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) availability. ï· If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the dealer. ï· If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to NTB21-013 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.

SummaryLANE CAMERA OVER TEMPERATURE DTC STORED SERVICE INFORMATION The Lane Camera can become overheated if the interior room temperature or temperature around the camera becomes excessively high, and does not initially indicate a sustained fault. If overheated, the Lane Camera should be cooled to outside ambient temperature, any stored DTCs erased, and then allowed to resume operation. Refer to the ESM for any DTCs that will not erase. This condition may cause the following system functions to be suspended: ï· Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode (ICC - Intelligent Cruise Control) ï· Conventional (fixed speed) cruise control mode ï· Steering wheel assistance function ï· AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) ï· LDW (Lane Departure Warning) ï· I-LI (Intelligent Lane Intervention) ï· Blind Spot Intervention ï· TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) AND Can store one or more of the following DTCs as PAST or CURRENT: ï· C2501-4B (Front camera unit) ï· C1F05-4B (Front camera unit) ï· C1F6B-4B (Front camera unit) For customer information, see Talk Tip "Customer" statement on page 3.

SummaryFuel Tank Dealer Inventory *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is now escalating the temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on 196 specific model year 2022 Nissan Rogue vehicles in Service Comm to a dealer inventory quality action to inspect, and if necessary, replace the fuel tank. Nissan is continuing its investigation of a potential fuel tank puncture. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality hold using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC903 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. 3. Use the attached procedure to inspect and, if necessary, remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action: ⢠If parts are needed, dealers may place an order via the normal process. 4. URGENT: The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed as soon as the action is completed so it can be closed on Service Comm, and release the vehicle. 5. NOTE: Parts replaced under this quality action will be collected through the Nissan Part Return Program to help with Nissanâs continued investigation. If a Part Return Required Notification is received by the dealer, it is important for dealers to return parts applicable specifically to the VIN and repair order identified.
