SummaryEngine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the engine control module (ECM) with countermeasure software in certain vehicles. The current software installed may allow the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid valve diagnosis to continue to draw current when the engine is off. This condition may result in a reduction of the battery life. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.Ds: ï· PC734 â Titan, NV Passenger Van ï· PM940 â Sentra, NV200, NV200 Taxi ï· P0A05 â GT-R, Armada ï· - New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DCS (Sales->Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB20-021 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealer should submit the warranty claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

SummaryVOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2019 Armada, 2019-2020 GT-R, 2019-2020 GT-R NISMO, 2019-2020 NV200, 2019 NV200 Taxi, 2019 NV Cargo and Passenger, 2019 Sentra, and 2019 Titan and Titan XD vehicles. The Engine Control Module (ECM) will be inspected, and reprogrammed if it applies. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification numbers PC734, PM940, and P0A05 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

Summary2018 370Z AND GT-R; TPMS LIGHT ON WITH DTC STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) light is ON with one or more of the following DTCs stored: ï· C1708 â [NO DATA] FL ï· C1709 â [NO DATA] FR ï· C1710 â [NO DATA] RR ï· C1711 â [NO DATA] RL ACTION 1. Verify that the TPMS sensor associated with the stored DTC(s) is transmitting a signal with the Signal Tech II. 2. If transmitting, clear TPMS DTCs, turn the HVAC to maximum cool, and then road test the vehicle (see the specific conditions under steps 20 and 21 on page 6. 3. If a DTC is stored during the road test, replace the HVAC blower motor.

CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE) stored And The cause is determined to be the electric control valve. ACTION 1. Replace the electric control valve ONLY. - The electric control valve is now available separately as a service part. - See PARTS INFORMATION on page 4. - DO NOT replace the complete main muffler assembly for this incident, if it should occur. 2. Erase the DTC.

The changes involve a different security protocol, commonly known as cryptology. IMPORTANT: - The two systems use a different Intelligent Key, BCM, and Intelligent Key antennas. The components of the new and old systems are NOT interchangeable. - Once an Intelligent Key is programmed to a vehicle with the NEW Intelligent Key system, it cannot be reprogrammed to any other vehicle.
