- #11458938March 30, 2022SEATS, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
1. Drivers power seat back changes position, seemingly by itself overnight. Dealer says it's a known "Engineering Issue." Service personnel said a fix is coming but not sure when. Some people think that those affected are accidentally hitting the power seat switches but I have doubts about that. It's an ongoing problem, on and off, since purchasing vehicle 11-9-21. 2. Cruise control is not smooth at all. The truck may lose two mph then the engine may shift down a bunch of gears and the engine needlessly races too much in getting back to speed. It's the worse cruise control I've ever experienced in my life. I reported this to the dealer and they noted it. Nothing was done to correct the problem which has been ongoing since purchasing vehicle 11-9-21.

- #11457585March 21, 2022SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
On 2 recent occasions the truck's warning lights flashed on the dash and the vehicle applied the brakes for no apparent reason. The first occurance the dealer in Fairfield, Ohio, guessed there may have been debris blocking the camera eye. On the second occurance the dealer in Springdale, Ohio, could find no recalls or reason for the malfunction. Our concern is this malfunction will happen when the vehicle is going 70 MPH on an interstate.

- #11454472February 28, 2022EXTERIOR LIGHTING
The contact owns a 2000 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the rear taillight bulb would eject from the retaining clip inside the socket of the taillight assembly. She became aware of the failure after purchasing replacement bulbs for what she thought were blown bulbs. After several failures, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who physically held the bulb in place inside the assembly. After letting go of the bulb, the failure recurred. The local dealer and manufacturer were contacted and informed of the failure. The manufacturer notified the contact of NHTSA Campaign Number: 99V347002 (Exterior Lighting) however, the VIN was not included. The contact was then referred to NHTSA for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 168,000.

- #11453481February 22, 2022SERVICE BRAKES, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
There are 3 incidents thus far. ***I have video confirmation of these incidents*** First, I had parked my vehicle at a gas pump, put my vehicle in park, and locked the vehicle. Apparently, as I walked away, my vehicle had slowly rolled backwards more than 15 feet until it hit the curb. I noticed the vehicle moved from the location I had parked my vehicle when I came back to the vehicle and didn't notice my vehicle where I had remembered leaving the vehicle. I inspected my vehicle and no damage and the vehicle shift was in the park position. After I realized what had happened I went back in to the store and asked the manager to show me the camera footage to see what had happened. I recorded the surveillance video as proof. Second, I was arriving at a brother's house and parked my vehicle, put my vehicle in the park position and when I shut the vehicle off the vehicle rolled forward approximately 3 feet. Third, I was arriving at a family member's house. I parked the vehicle, put the vehicle in the park position. When I shut the vehicle off, the vehicle started rolling forward. As I noticed immediately what had happened, I ran in front of the vehicle to stop the vehicle from rolling any further to which I started pushing the vehicle backwards. At about 10 feet of pushing the vehicle backwards, I eventually heard a click sound rendering the vehicle locked in the park position. *****I have video confirmation of my locked and parked vehicle rolling back while I stepped away at the gas pump***** AutoNation Nissan service department has the vehicle replacing my transmission and some electrical components associated with the drivetrain. Vehicle is a new 2022 Nissan proX4.purchase date 12/13/21. No issues until February 6 (3100miles). Car was serviced 2/4/22 for initial oil change and all systems were “green light” on routine diagnostic test at time of oil change per dealer. Now various (ABS, engine light, various warning lights) appear while driving and when engine restarted they disappear, only to reappear again intermittently. I suspect an electronic problem or computer malfunction. This is a safety issue due to driver distraction. I have been told by others (facebook group) that they have had similar electronic issues with this 2022 Nissan pro 4 X vehicle that have not been resolved.

2 months after purchasing the vehicle (with 98,410 miles) it started to shutter around 40 and 60 mph. At a little over 100,000 miles it began to slip in 5th gear (overdrive). It has been getting worse in the last 1,000s. Both Nissan or the local dealer are willing to offer any financial assistance.

I took my 2019 Nissan Frontier with 56,000 miles to the Freedom Nissan in south Burlington VT on 1/25/2022 due to the airbag light flashing red. Scanned the vehicle and found DTC B00A0 - they preformed diagnosis on code. Found Occupant Sensor Failure. Will need to replace passenger seat bottom due to OCS sensor but within seat. My complaint is that Nissan is not covering this serious safety issue under warranty because the truck's three year basic warranty expired November 13, 2021 and exceeded 36,000 miles. I strongly disagree due the serious safety issue and with the long history of Nissan's Occupant Sensor Failures they have had over many years. I have called Nissan's customer service and was told they would not cover the cost to install a new bottom seat. My case number with Nissan Customer Service is 45640533

- #11447236January 12, 2022FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, STEERING, SUSPENSION
I was driving my vehicle and I ran out of gas. The gas gauge maintained a quarter of a tank and the gas light never came on. I check for recalls and it turns out this is a known recall for this vehicle, but it says 0 recalls. But the problem still persists, therefore the vehicle is still suffering from this problem. After filling the gas after the car ran out. I tested this theory 2 more times to confirm that indeed the vehicle was suffering from this recall, in which i run out of gas without knowing. Secondly, the links associated with the other recall, have also failed/failing as the vehicle is becoming unstable while driving at times and a mechanic has already determined the links to be the cause, yet when I check my VIN number, it says 0 recalls. Yet my vehicle clearly suffers from this. Can my vehicle please be added to the list, as this is very scary as the first time I ran out of gas I was on the expressway, and the vehicle sways yet it is not listed and needs to be for safety reasons and concerns. Thank you for your time, effort, and consideration regarding this, I await your timely response.
