SummarySome 2024 Nautilus and 2025 Explorer/Aviator/Police Interceptor Utility vehicles may exhibit a symptom where the vehicle's right (passenger) exterior mirror does not come out of the folded position after the vehicle is unlocked. This may be due to a software concern within the driver's door module (DDM) and passenger's door module (PDM). If the mirror unfolds after pressing the mirror fold button in the vehicle twice, inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the DDM and PDM will not resolve this condition at this time.

If this condition occurs, follow Pinpoint Test M in section 419-04B Side and Rear Vision of the Workshop Manual. If diagnosis leads to the removal of the rear bumper cover, inspect the inside of the bumper cover for any labels near the location of the SODR that may be blocking its field view and remove if found. If no labels are found blocking the SODR, continue with normal diagnosis.

SummaryThe driver status monitor camera in some 2024 Nautilus vehicles may be positioned off-center on the top of the steering column shroud. The steering column and shrouds normally rotate back and forth due to its tilt and telescopic feature. Assure any customers who report this concern that it does not affect Blue Cruise function. If this condition occurs, do not manually twist the driver status monitor camera to center it. Telescoping the steering column out all the way out and then all the way in should center the driver status monitor camera with no repairs needed. The steering column position can then be set to the customer's preference.

This may be due to SiriusXM® software falsely reporting the SiriusXM® subscription activation status. Replacement or reprogramming of the APIM will not resolve this condition. DTC U3000:52 should be ignored if the SiriusXM® radio is operational, allowing access to the Channel 0 tile, displaying the SiriusXM Radio ID, the user can tune to the Preview Channel 1 with or without a subscription, and no other DTCs are present in the APIM or warning lights are illuminated. No further service action is required.

SummarySome 2023-2024 Escape/Corsair vehicles equipped with a 1.5L or 2.0L EcoBoost engine, 2024 Mustang vehicles equipped with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine, and 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an engine misfire condition with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0301, P0302, P0303 and/or P0304 set in the powertrain control module (PCM). If the codes are stored in the PCM, remove and inspect the condition of all the spark plugs. If all spark plugs are found to be free of damage, replacement of the spark plugs is not necessary. Refer to the Workshop Manual and perform normal diagnostics. If any spark plugs appear to be damaged, use a borescope to inspect the condition of the cylinder walls. If the cylinder walls are scored/scraped/damaged, replace the long block engine assembly (6006) to resolve this condition. If the cylinder walls are not scored/scraped/damaged, replace the damaged spark plug(s) and advise the customer that engineering is investigating this issue. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.

SummarySome 2024 Nautilus vehicles may have a clock that is inaccurate and/or weather information may not be able to update along with the inability to sign-in to Google Automotive Services to update or edit a profile. During this time the Google Map may also not display in the panoramic display screen next to the speedometer. This may be due to a concern with the telematics control unit (TCU) module software. NOTE: It is normal for the Google Map to not appear in the panoramic display when in calm mode or when using the Waze app. NOTE: The TCU software update that addresses the symptom listed in this article may have been delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the vehicle's center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. If an update to the APIM has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting the symptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply.

SummarySome 2024 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a concern with the driver seat and steering column moving to the saved memory position instead of the easy entry position when approaching or unlocking the vehicle with the key fob. This condition may occur after setting up a client profile and is due to the driver front seat module (DSM) software. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and that engineering is currently working on revised DSM software for this condition that is expected in Q3 2024. In the interim, easy entry will function if the key fob is unlinked from the customers personal profile by selecting the profile on the center display screen, pressing the edit icon, choosing ID Method, pressing Unlink Key Fob, and then selecting Unlink from the pop-up screen. The customers driver seat and steering column memory settings will no longer be saved to the key fob but can be recalled by using the memory switches on the door or on the center display screen. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.
