Started having misfire issues. Replaced spark plugs. problem continued. started having to add antifreeze regurlarly. 1 quart per 300 miles. multiple P0302 error codes. Dealer 1st tried to tell me was a loose coil pack. looked at it again and said needs a new head gasket possibly a whole new engine. 117,000 miles and this seems rediculous for a 60,000 dollar vehecle. Especially since Jeep already issued an extended 150,000 mile warranty for 2011-2013. with 100's of these same issues still happening on 2018's and latter they clearly did not correct the defect.

My vehicle, a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN [XXX] ), is under recall stating: “A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury.” “Owners are advised to refrain from recharging.” “Owners… are advised to park away from structures.” “The remedy… is not currently available.” Vehicle also has front-end instability at 65+ mph. I notice it starting to vibrate/wobble. Dealership will not provide a loaner until a remedy has been identified leaving my family in a very unsafe, potential life threatening position. Three active recalls on this vehicle currently and have not had the vehicle a full calendar year yet. Two pertaining to fire-risk recall which can result in increased risk of occupant injury and injury to persons outside vehicle. The recall instructions state there is an issue with battery and engine which can cause fire. The recall instructions state to not charge the vehicle nor park in garage and to park it outside away from buildings due to risk of thermal runway. The engine may contact materials which can also cause fire. Because of this, the vehicle is not safe to drive. My dealership (Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey) as well as Jeep has refused to provide a loaner vehicle or transportation assistance free of charge. They informed me I must pay out of pocket for a rental while the recall remedy is being developed causing me to pay for 2 vehicles at the same. There is currently no remedy for this issue and no timeframe of when it will be available. Stellantis has not provided any support despite the safety hazard and the fact that I cannot safely use this vehicle. This leaves me without transportation during a federally mandated safety recall involving a fire risk. I am requesting NHTSA review this issue and contact the involved parties to ensure proper handling of the recall and consumer safety. Thank you,

I am filing a complaint with regards to the current recalls on the 2024 wrangler 4xe. My concerns are not only is this not a safe vehicle to be driving it is a lease, a lease that will devalue the car. Chrysler Jeep offered me a rental reimbursement which I can not afford due to the timeline they have given me. January for battery and “second quarter of next year” this could cost me over $7,200 (up to $60 a day with a wait time of 6 months to wait for a repair) along with my monthly lease payment and insurance I have to pay on car that I feel unsafe driving I can not afford to pay upfront for a rental. Not sure if this is a breach of contract on their end. To ask someone who needs car for work to drive a vehicle that could catch fire or loose power while driving is unacceptable. There is also an artilcle on wtol.com stating there is a DO NOT DRIVE issued for this particular model published 11/18/25 I want some sort of resolution asap. As of now I am not driving car. Was also told by Stellantis they would tow my car and give me a loaner. They disconnected my call never noted it in my file and when I called back they had no idea who told me that.

I have several issues. 1. An independent auto shop noticed all 4 of my shocks were leaking when they did an oils change and tire rotation recently. I have had my other oil changes and rotations at the dealership prior to this and they never mentioned it. I’ve tried calling my dealership svc dept. about it 4 times now with no call backs. 2. The new tires that came with my jeep from the factory only lasted about half their treadwear. I had to replace prematurely at 30,000 miles bc they were causing a “deathwobble” on my jeep at speeds of 60-70mph and they were also messing with my alignment which I paid the dealer to try to fix but they’ll couldn’t bc it turns out it was the tires the whole time but they’ll couldn’t bc couldn’t figure this out. The independent tire shop figured it out. 3. This is the most worrisome They just sent me another recall about the high voltage battery pack being dangerous and poasibly catching fire. It says not to charge it or park it near structures. This is the 2nd or 3rd recall of this sort and it’s not allowing me to use the electric features on my vehicle which I paid extra for when I bought it and I pay yearly for with insurance and taxes.. I need compensation or a vehicle exchange or a buyback so that I can use my vehicle as it is intended to be used. This is a clear violation of that. Please help me!

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that a recall repair for the battery was previously completed in 2023. The contact called a dealer and the manufacturer and was advised that the remedy was not yet available and to follow the instructions not to park the vehicle near any structures or other vehicles, and not to charge the battery due to the risk of a fire. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Hi, I am writing regarding my leased 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ), which is currently under both fire-risk safety recalls. I have been advised not to charge the vehicle and to keep it parked away from my home, buildings, and other cars due to the potential battery fire hazard. At this time, the dealership has confirmed that they are unable to perform the recall repair or provide a timeline for when the necessary parts and remedy will be available. As a result, the vehicle is not safe or practical to use and I am paying for a vehicle I cannot use for reasons intended. Given that the vehicle is unusable due to an unresolved safety defect, I am requesting an early lease termination or manufacturer-assisted replacement. I believe this falls under a reasonable expectation for relief when a vehicle cannot be safely operated and the manufacturer cannot complete the required recall repair within a reasonable timeframe. Please open a case for review and advise on the next steps. I am happy to provide any additional documentation you may need, including the recall notice and my communications with the dealer. I have called Jeep & Stellantis multiple times and neither are willing to help me resolve this issue. I have also opened a case with the BBB. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to resolving this as soon as possible. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe My vehicle has two separate critical safety recalls with no remedy available: High-voltage battery fire risk (vehicle may catch fire even when parked; cannot charge; must park outside). Recall 68C for engine contamination with sand causing catastrophic engine failure, fire, and sudden loss of propulsion. Jeep states that repair parts are unavailable for both recalls. This makes the vehicle unsafe to drive, unsafe to charge, unsafe to park near structures, and unusable for transportation. I am requesting NHTSA intervention to compel Stellantis to provide a remedy or repurchase the unsafe vehicle.

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V741000 (Electrical System), 25V710000 (Electrical System), and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle temporarily lost power and suddenly jumped and accelerated as intended while switching from Electric Mode to Gasoline Mode. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving with a 30 percent battery charge, the vehicle decelerated significantly and failed to accelerate as intended. There was no warning light illuminated. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to drop off the vehicle for a diagnostic test, but no vehicle rental assistance was offered. The contact declined to take the vehicle in because it was the only means of transportation. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted for buy-back assistance, but the request was denied. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the high-voltage coolant heater had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact later received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V741000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to perform the recall repairs were not yet available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer confirmed that the part was not yet available and referred the contact to the manufacturer for further assistance. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that the part had not yet been developed, and a notification letter would be sent once it became available. The contact had not experienced a failure related to the recalls. The approximate failure mileage was 9,000.

Center dashboard experienced an instrument cluster failure causing the center dashboard information to go completely blank so that the mileage, amount of gas, speed, warning lights, etc. are all no longer visible. There appears to have been a recall for a similar issue for Jeep Wrangler years 2018-2024 but I have been told my VIN is not part of that recall even though it appears to be the same cluster failure issue.

I am filing a complaint regarding my 2024 Jeep Wrangler under an active safety recall involving the high-voltage battery. Jeep has stated that there is no repair available and advised owners not to charge the vehicle and not to park it in a garage or near structures due to a potential fire risk. This creates a major safety hazard, and I am unable to use the vehicle as intended. The recall has caused: • Loss of use • Safety concerns for my home and family • Diminished value of the vehicle I am requesting NHTSA to investigate the delay and require Jeep/Stellantis to provide an immediate remedy, repairs, loaner vehicle, or buyback.

My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is under two active safety recalls: Recall 68C (NHTSA 25V-741) involving high voltage battery fire risk, and Recall 78C (NHTSA 25V766) unexpected and unrecoverable loss of propulsion which is also currently unresolved. Recall 68C instructs owners NOT to recharge the vehicle and to park it away from structures due to potential fire. No remedy exists for either recall. The vehicle is leased and cannot be used normally or safely. Stellantis has not provided a remedy, replacement, or loaner. I am requesting NHTSA review due to the severity of the defects, the lack of an available fix, and the significant safety impact to consumers.

On October 12, 2025, while I was driving, the vehicle abruptly shut off, locked up, and completely stalled while in motion. This created an immediate and serious hazard to my safety and to other drivers on the road. I contacted Jeep to report the incident, but I was informed that no service appointments were available for several weeks. I was also told that Jeep currently does not have a repair or remedy for this issue. At present, Jeep has acknowledged a safety defect, has no available solution, and cannot perform a timely repair. The vehicle is unsafe to operate and cannot be used for its intended purpose. I rely on reliable transportation for my personal and professional obligations and cannot be without a safe vehicle for an extended period while Jeep attempts to resolve a known safety problem. Given that Jeep is unable to repair the defect and is effectively in breach of its warranty obligations, I am requesting that Stellantis Financial Services immediately terminate my lease without any early termination fees, penalties, or additional charges. I must obtain a dependable vehicle from a manufacturer that can provide safe and operable transportation.

I have been leasing this vehicle for approximately 3 years and have experienced constant engine problems; knocking and jolting forward. There have been four safety recalls and I mentioned the engine issues at the dealership. I was told not use the electric engine and keep the car in gas mode. This has not fixed the problem; it jolts forward randomly which is very scary. I only have this one vehicle and a small child. I am not comfortable driving this car with my son in it. And now I received another recall notice for severe fire risk and no remedy available. I am making (expensive) lease payments for a car that is not safe to drive.
