Two of the same faults occurred within the same month of each other. The first: while driving home from work on the highway, while heavily raining, without warning every alarm light possible engaged, windshield wipers went full speed, vehicle would not shift, and my steering locked up (not to be confused with lost power steering). After about a mile I was able to encourage the Jeep off the side of the highway. While waiting for my tow, with the E Brake set and in Park, the Jeep kept trying to crawl forward on its own. I was unable to turn the vehicle off as it would not respond, in addition to an alarm warning saying not to turn off the Jeep. The second occurrence was in the parking garage at work; I pulled through the parking stall, put the Jeep in reverse to back up and the same fault took place. No steering, wipers on full speed, every alarm on the dash was engaged. Thankfully I was not a highway speed. I was able to turn off the Jeep this time after about 5 minutes of attempting to.

Jeep will not include my vehicle in the Instrument cluster failure because they predetermined which vin numbers were affected and did not include my 2020 Jeep Gladiator on the list. But my vehicle clearly has the electrical problem causing the center instrument cluster to not work and be blank. I cannot see how many miles I drove or how much gas is in the tank and cannot see anything outside of MPH and RPM.

The center high mounted tail light (CHMTL) has failed. It makes it a little harder to see the vehicle is braking. The fuses are fine. It is a very common failure on Jeep Gladiators. Many times people don't know it has failed. There are no warning lamps or indicators to tell you it has failed.

While my vehicle was still under factory warranty, a mechanical issue was diagnosed by the dealership and a replacement part was ordered. The part was placed on backorder, and I was advised I would be contacted once it arrived. I was never notified when the part became available. By the time I was contacted weeks later, the warranty period had expired. I immediately scheduled service once I learned the part was available. During the repair visit, I was informed that the prolonged delay resulted in additional damage, including components related to braking and sealing. These components are available for inspection and were identified by the servicing dealership. Brake system involvement raises safety concerns, as reduced braking effectiveness can increase stopping distance and risk to occupants and others. The condition was confirmed by dealership technicians during service. The issue was not caused by misuse and occurred due to a delayed repair that originated under warranty but could not be completed due to parts unavailability and lack of notification. The vehicle remains under dealer inspection and repair. Warning symptoms were present prior to service, and the condition was confirmed by the dealership upon inspection.

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Gladiator. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the instrument cluster failed to display the odometer or safety features as intended. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the instrument cluster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Investigation: PE25014 (Electrical System) and NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (Electrical System); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

Safety Complaint: Suspension Failure Following Major Axle Rebuild In June 2025, my Jeep Gladiator underwent an invasive rear differential rebuild under TSB 03-002-24 at AutoNation. At that time, a certified Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) marked all suspension components and fluids as "Green/Safe." On February 5, 2026, a Shop Foreman at Gillman Jeep identified a catastrophic failure of the rear stabilizer links and leaking/bouncy front shocks, along with "diluted/failed" fluids. These safety-critical components went from "Certified Safe" to "Failed" in only 6 months/12,000 miles following the axle rebuild. The Safety Risk: The failed stabilizer links and shocks have compromised the vehicle's stability and handling. This is a documented Workmanship Failure (likely due to improper torque at ride height/bushing bind during the June TSB repair). The Manufacturer Response: Jeep Corporate Case Management (Case #95545827) is currently refusing to authorize safety repairs under the 24-Month Mopar National Warranty, citing internal dealership billing issues. They are intentionally obstructing the repair of a documented safety hazard and ignoring the contradictory safety inspections provided by two authorized dealerships.

I have had my gorilla glass replaced two years ago for cracking on its on, my front windshield cracked again 2 weeks ago for no reason and it cracked in the same location, causing a huge crack along my vison. This glass is supposed to be unbreakable and yet it broke twice since ownership all by it self. No rock chips or anything. I was just sitting at a traffic light when I heard a ting and the crack just grew before my eyes. Bad glass and Mopar knows its a flaw but will not replace it.

While driving at highway speeds, my daughter experienced, without any prior symptom, a violent shaking of the vehicle in general, accompanied by violent shaking of the steering wheel, making the vehicle difficult to control. We have since discovered it is a known issue "popularly" known as the "Jeep Death Wobble". My daughter was startled and frightened by the extent of the shaking and nearly lost control of the vehicle while driving 6o+ miles per hour on a highway. She managed to pull off the side of the road and call me to come pick her up, unwilling to drive the vehicle any further. We currently live in Ohio; if we still lived in San Antonio, TX and she was driving on one of their raised overpasses, I fear what might have happened. I believed this to be an anomaly, but have now experienced this phenomenon on four out of five Jeep Wrangle/Gladiator vehicles within my own family, a failure rate of 80%. All occurred prior to 36,000 miles (but after three years). When I took the vehicle in for repair to the Jeep dealership, they modified my statement of the problem on official paperwork because, they said, if they mentioned "death wobble" on paperwork, they would have a team of engineers descend on their dealership (which they did not want). They also recommended a repair that did not fix the problem. As an engineer, I recognize this as likely a resonance design flaw. My fear is, based on this statement and my lived experience, this serious safety issue is being greatly under-reported. While some years/models have received recalls, not all have ... and Jeep appears complicit in addressing this safety issue across all vehicles exhibiting this frightening, potentially accident-inducing issue. I cannot understand why a recall does not cover all affected vehicles ... unless, as I mentioned, the issue is being under-reported by the company. Please investigate/address this issue before someone dies. I honestly believe I came close to losing one of my daughters that day.

This afternoon I was driving on a 35mph 4 lane road when my power steering suddenly went out. Because it was unusually light traffic and there are no turns or curves, I was able to safely maintain my lane until the power steering resumed just as quickly as it went out. Most women struggle with manually steering a normal sized car- a truck this heavy is nearly impossible. Had I been going any faster or if I were on a curve, I would have absolutely wrecked. There were no alarms, no signals no messages, nothing. Because this Judy happened, I have not yet had it looked at my a mechanic.

My name is [XXX] , and I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding the loss of my vehicle due to engine fire. The vehicle was a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, VIN [XXX] , with approximately 26,666 miles at the time of loss. I purchased the vehicle on May 13, 2021. The fire occurred on July 10, 2025. I was driving on the freeway, and my vehicle lost power and dashboard warning lights illuminated. When I pulled over, the engine was on fire. The fire department came and doused the flames but my entire engine was destroyed. After the fire, I retained legal counsel and initiated an independent investigation through Fire Cause Analysis in Berkeley, California. Their findings identified the origin of the fire as being linked to the power steering pump electrical connector. I later discovered that NHTSA has an open investigation identified as PE24024 concerning Jeep Gladiator engine fires which notes that the fires reported to NHTSA for this vehicle originated at the power steering pump electrical connector - coinciding with the finding of Fire Cause Analysis. - #11716012February 5, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
New Jeep, 1500 miles on it. While driving, it did an automatic update in the computer system. Following the update, the screen kept jumping information all over, constantly moving. I called jeep and they said bring it in same day. Following two shutdowns, the screen appeared normal. On 3 consecutive days it had automatic braking issues. 3 driving incidents occurred in which the automatic collision avoidance system kicked in with full braking, antilock brakes working. One incident occurred at 39 mph. One incident occurred at 50 MPH and one incident occurred at 55+ mph. There was no traffic conditions noted that would require and braking. The 50mph incident required traffic following me to break heavily, nearly causing an accident. The jeep pulled heavily to the left. Jeep made an appointment for a week out. I will not use that system pending an investigation

I went to pass a tractor trailer on a back country road. When I got around the vehicle, I came up on a curve and had no power steering. Pulled over, shut the Jeep off and problem was “fixed”. I towed it to the dealership the next time it happened and they changed the oil and told me it was out of engine oil causing the problem. It happened last week when I was passing a car, I shut the jeep off and the problem went away until today when I was passing a car. Two times I nearly crashed because there was NO WARNING that my power steering failed. This is insanely dangerous.

I suspect there is a design flaw with the gas tank. Everytime I put gas in the vehicle, and I go to multiple gas stations, the automatic shut off on the gas pump will stop pumping gas when the tank is full but the aperture to my gas tank regurgitates a great deal of gas onto the ground. Even when pumping at the slowest speed, I manage to spill 4 plus ounces of gas onto my car and the ground. This happens every time, and I doubt I am the only person this happens to. I have never had this issue with my other automobiles. This occurs every time I get gas.

Engine failure due to coolant leak: in December, 2025, vehicle was towed to dealership due to overheating engine. While driving home from work, Vehicle was exhibiting engine overheating including temperature warning lights, temperature gauge fluctuating from normal to extremely high, a strange sound coming from the front of the vehicle (almost like a fan was not working) and running rough, like a diesel idle. I immediately pulled the vehicle off to the side of the road & shut it off. (Fortunately engine didn’t seize or exhibit these symptoms while I was on the highway just minutes before) I called dealership & they said it needed to be towed in. After having my vehicle for 10 days, Dealership stated thermostat needed to be replaced. Vehicle then exhibited same symptoms a few weeks later along with a check engine light, vehicle is returned to dealership. Dealership NOW tells me they’ve “seen enough of these to know that it’s most likely going to need a left side cylinder head” due to coolant leak into the engine. I am now aware there have been multiple reports to NHTSA for similar issues and that a service bulletin has been issued to the dealerships for this very reason: its a KNOWN issue with no recall in sight. Jeep at this juncture, acknowledging it’s a problem, REFUSES to assist with very costly repair, instead suggesting I should report to NHTSA.

- #11712024January 20, 2026STEERING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
While driving on the highway on 1/19/2026, the electric power steering system abruptly stopped working. It took all my strength to steer the vehicle to take the first available exit. The failure made controlling the vehicle very difficult, putting my safety, my family's safety and the safety of others around me at risk. As soon as the vehicle slowed to approximately 20mph, the power steering started working normally again. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. There were no warning lamps, messages or notifications during the power steering failure. There were no warning lamps, messages or notifications after the power steering started working normally again. I did a complete system scan using a scan tool that can detect Diagnostic Trouble Codes from all vehicle systems, and no DTCs were detected. See attachment.
