My 2 year old son became Locked inside my brand new vehicle on [XXX] and [XXX] because the vehicle didn't detect TWO sets of keys inside the vehicle on one occasion and one set on another during the first incident my child became locked inside the vehicle with two sets of keys inside on the center in the cupholder. Police had to respond to physically open the door and assist getting my child out of the vehicle. this created a SERIOUS safety risk because my child was not only trapped inside a vehicle , but during a heat wave. this vehicle was dropped off from a leasing broker and I hadn't even driven it prior to this incident. During the second incident occurring on [XXX] the car self locked with the keys in the front seat attached to a bag. there are no warning lights, warning messages, audible warning or any other indicators that this problem was going to occur. I reported this to the initial incident toCarlos at the service department at massapequa infinity on July 15, 2027. the phone number is (516) 797-5200 and the address is 4450 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa, NY 11758. ) dealership on July 20 and was promised a complimentary vehicle the following week with an appointment with infinity engineer. I reported the second incident on July 23 and was then told it is a "company- wide- issue effecting all models and platforms manufacurered in 2027" and that I would have to wait for the manufacturer to determine how to fix it and to "sit tight". I am reporting this issue because I believe the inability to safely put your child in the back seat and get into the driver seat without locking you out is a SERIOUS SAFETY concern. the fact that this happened on two separate occasions and the dealership has admitted fault this is a system defect. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate the issue before we have a dead child or animal on our hands. Thank you INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

On August 10, 2026, my 2024 INFINITI QX60 unexpectedly locked while the Intelligent Key was still inside the vehicle, trapping my two young children inside on a hot day. The Intelligent Key was inside my purse on the front passenger seat. The purse also contained my phone, house keys, and another vehicle key fob. There were no large metallic objects in the purse. I was closing the passenger-side rear door when I heard the vehicle lock. My hand may have contacted the exterior rear-door handle/lock sensor while closing the door, but I cannot be certain. I did not intentionally lock the vehicle. Because two young children were trapped inside in hot weather, a friend called 911. Firefighters responded and opened the vehicle. After returning home, we attempted to reproduce the incident, but the vehicle correctly prevented us from locking it with the Intelligent Key inside. Therefore, I am concerned about a possible intermittent failure of the Intelligent Key detection/lockout protection system. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by an INFINITI dealer. I have reported the incident to INFINITI Consumer Affairs and plan to have the vehicle inspected by an authorized INFINITI dealer. There were no warning lights or warning messages before the incident that I am aware of. The vehicle is available for inspection. This incident created a serious safety risk because two young children were trapped inside a locked vehicle in hot weather and emergency intervention by the fire department was required.

- #11755643August 8, 2026Tether, Lower Anchor (on car seat or vehicle)
While uninstalling a Chicco Fit360 ClearTex rotating convertible car seat, we discovered that the load-bearing webbing connecting the car seat base to a lower-anchor connector had completely separated. The car seat had not been involved in any crash or impact, and nothing struck or contacted the seat during removal. The separation was not visible during normal use. The seat had become loose, but we did not know that the lower-anchor webbing itself had failed. Because this webbing secured the base to the vehicle’s lower anchor, the failure severely compromised the installation while our child had been riding in the seat. In a collision, the restraint might not have remained secured to the vehicle. The car seat has been removed from use. It has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurer, or another party. The seat, separated webbing, photographs, and video have been preserved and are available for inspection upon request. We purchased two identical seats and are concerned that other units may experience the same safety-critical failure. We request investigation as a potential safety defect.

24 July, approx 930 AM vehicle was stopped and left running in park. Vehicle keys (Fob) was left in vehicle and driver exited vehicle for approx 3-5 minutes. Upon return, the vehicle was locked, something that should not occur when the key (Fob) is left in the vehicle. Remote access via the Infiniti app to unlock was unsuccessful. 2nd vehichle key (Fob) was retrieved and the vehicle successfully opened using it. Infiniti was contacted and they were unable to remotely open the vehicle. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. WHAT IF THERE HAD BEEN A CHILD IN THE VEHICLE? VEHICLE SHOULD NOT HAVE LOCKED OR BEEN ABLE TO LOCK WITH THE KEY'S INSIDE

Subject of Complaint: Severe odometer fraud, mileage tampering, and title misrepresentation by the selling dealership: Phenix Motors, LLC ([XXX]), operated by [XXX]. The Discrepancy: The vehicle was sold to me with a falsely represented odometer reading. Subsequent electronic diagnostics and vehicle history reports reveal that the actual mileage is severely discrepant from the mileage disclosed on the official bill of sale and title paperwork provided by Phenix Motors, LLC. The dealership has since explicitly refused to participate in state-level consumer mediation with the Mississippi Attorney General's Office.Current Status & Evidence Location: The vehicle is currently completely inoperable with a dead dashboard/ECM display. On XXX, the financing lender, Magnolia Federal Credit Union, executed a repossession of the vehicle. Under the FTC Holder Rule, the lender is fully aware of the fraud claims. The physical car and its electronic control modules (the core evidence of the fraud) are currently being held by the lender's agent: United Auto Recovery (Account reference partial VIN: [XXX]).State Action & Reference History:Mississippi Attorney General's Office: Consumer Protection Division File closed due to Dealer Principal's ([XXX]) formal refusal to mediate.State Licensing Authority Contact: [XXX], Mississippi Motor Vehicle Commission / Mississippi Department of Revenue (Title and Dealer Enforcement Division: [XXX]).Request: I am requesting a formal federal investigation into Phenix Motors, LLC for systemic odometer manipulation, and a formal safety/title flag placed on this VIN to prevent the lender or dealer from washing the title or liquidating the vehicle at auction before the electronic evidence can be audited. Wireless phone charging pad overheats phone to the point the phone turns off. Concern for possible fire hazard due to how hot the phone gets. In July 2026 the dealer was advised of issue. Dealer referred me to Infinity Consumer Affairs who said they consulted with their engineers and there is nothing they can do about this known issue.

Pulling onto 55mph road from a stop, the car began to accelerate then lagged(felt like a pause/stall in acceleration) and then overcompensated with rapid acceleration. This has happened multiple times. The vehicle has also gotten stuck in a low gear when accelerating in auto mode. Took the car to the dealership expressing safety concern of unreliable acceleration and they couldn’t replicate the issue.

Cvt transmission failing, started @ 113000 miles, trying to work with Infiniti consumer affairs, they have required me to bring the car into their shop for diag. When i purchased the vehicle 2/26/2022, include with the car was an extended warranty for 6 years unlimited miles. They dated the contract back to the manufacturer date in 1/31/2019 and expired on 1/31/2025. I’ve opened a case with Infiniti USA case# 56866430. I feel they have never fixed their CVT transmission issue and it causing consumer undue cost and stress.

- #11750059July 13, 2026VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD
The vehicle exhibits active optical manufacturing defects causing continuous visual distortion across the front windshield. The distortion warps horizontal and vertical straight lines while driving. This visual warping severely impacts depth perception, causes eye strain, and induces motion sickness, resulting in physical disorientation during vehicle operation.

I took my car in for oil change to Infiniti dealer (Infiniti of Nashua) on 4/29/26 and was told by dealer that the rear subframe is rusted and my car is not safe to drive, with a repair estimate of $13,184 to replace rear subframe with all hardware. Actually, I had oil change and 4 wheel alignment done at the same Infiniti dealer less than a year back on 6/25/25. At that visit, the only recommended work was to replace oil pan (beginning to rust), battery service, and wiper replacement. There was no mention of a rusting rear subframe. My car is available for inspection, and i am afraid to drive this car. my car is up todate on inspection, registration etc. there were no warning signs prior to this that I noticed
