Summary2019 QX50; RATTLE NOISE FROM REAR OF FRONT MOONROOF PANEL IF YOU CONFIRM While driving at approximately 10 MPH, a rattle is present from either the right or left rear corner of the front moonroof glass panel, And Occurs only while the moonroof is in the closed position, And The moonroof buffers have been confirmed as being the old style (see Figure 2 and Figure 3 on pages 2 and 3, respectively). ACTION Replace both moonroof glass panel buffers with those from the Parts Information section of this bulletin on page 5.

SummaryAmerican Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) Labels Retailer Inventory ***** Campaign Summary ***** INFINITI is conducting a Quality Action for retailers to replace the American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) labels. The AALA label on affected vehicles was inadvertently printed with incorrect transmission manufacturing location and percentage breakdown of parts content by country. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in retailer inventory or assigned and in transit to the retailer. In the interest of client satisfaction, INFINITI requests retailers to apply the replacement label on the affected vehicles prior to retail sale. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in new retailerâs inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. PC714. ï· - New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ - Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information ï· - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. 4. Retailers will receive one (1) label for every affected vehicle in retailer inventory via USPS. Labels will be sent to the Service Managers attention. If replacement labels are needed, please send your request to: [email protected] along with your retailer name, address, VIN, contact name and phone number. ï· - Labels will be mailed beginning October 23, 2019 and should arrive no later than October 25, 2019.

This bulletin contains important service procedures that must be performed properly in order to set-up and maintain the telematics system for the Applied Vehicles. ï - A table has been provided on the next page that lists the model and year-specific steps required to successfully configure a TCU after it has been replaced. ï - A check OFF sheet has been provided on page 13 to print and check off steps as they are performed. Please staple the completed Check OFF Sheet to the repair order.

Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D. PC706 - New vehicles in retailer inventory can also be identified by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to IPSB 15-286 for additional information - Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. This commitment requires INFINITI to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to assure that these vehicles, as delivered to our clients, meet our exacting standards and our clients? expectations. Effective immediately, INFINITI is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on three hundred and twenty-four (324) specific MY2019 QX50 vehicles. These vehicles may experience an engine c-link bearing failure during operation, which could lead to engine seizure. INFINITI engineering is studying this concern and will provide the appropriate field action as quickly as possible. ***** What Retailers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality hold using Service Comm or DBS National Service History ? Open Campaign I.D.
