Steering wheel will lock in place making it hard to move when driving and trying to stay within a lane. I have to use a bit of force and when I do move it, there is a clicking sound.

The steering wheel is sticking. I am having to overcorrect my car when driving. There are no warning lamps or messages. I bought this car 3 months ago and noticed the issue about 2 weeks ago. The car has had a general inspection but not inspected for this specific concern.

I am writing to express my concern regarding a serious issue I encountered with my vehicle. On September 9th while driving, the sunroof of my car spontaneously shattered without any apparent cause or impact. I did not see or hear anything that could have hit the sunroof to result in such damage, and I was driving under normal conditions. This is an alarming safety issue, and I would like to understand how such a failure could occur. It not only caused significant inconvenience but also posed a serious risk to my safety while on the road. I believe this may be due to a defect in the glass or its installation, and I am requesting an immediate investigation into the cause of this incident.

I am not sur what is causing all of the lights coming on dash as well as all safety features being lost when driving the car. Right now it is but the light and warnings may cut off. Cr stalls at times. Hose keeps coming off the turbo causing the car no to accelerate in traffic. Yes, without any of the features working my safety and others safety is at risk Yes, The vehicle has been in the shop four times in 1 month for the same issue they say its fixed but the lights keep coming back on and I keep losing all safety features in the car. This is an on going issue 7/31 had car serviced for issue 8/10 light back on, hose loose again, 8/12 lights on again. 9/7 light back on have to take car to shop again. This is the 4th time.

The paint on my Honda Civic 2017 began peeling off the back window of my vehicle starting in 2022. I've since then paid to have it repaired, but now peeling is starting to occur on other places of the vehicle, such as the front hood, the fender, and the bumper. Honda has already admitted that a manufacturing issue involving the paint on the back window has been reported. This peeling problem is becoming too expensive to handle and Honda will not extend the paint warranty beyond the 3-year time frame. This is a serious issue as having too much of the car body exposed with lead to rusting.

My children fell asleep in the car, I put the car in park but left it running with ac running while I was right outside of the car doing some things. After a certain amount of time (a few minutes) the car automatically shut everything off including the air conditioning. I hadn’t left the car unattended so I knew as soon as it turned off and my children were never in danger but I’m worried the same could happen if someone left their animals (or worse case scenario children) unattended with the car running to go inside somewhere. I feel strongly that if I leave my car running with the air conditioning on it should stay running with the air conditioning on until I personally turn it off.

I have a 2021 Honda Civic Ex with 55, 000 miles on the odometer. The steering sticks at highway speeds and when correcting jerks to break free of the stickiness. Have taken it to the dealership and told the steering box is malfunctioning and would be $4,000 to replace. I work in the automotive industry and recognize this as a manufacture defect that Honda is aware of due to the current lawsuits against the company for this issue in 2022-2024 Honda Civics.

Alarm sounded, went outside with fob to shut off . Still alarm on . Tried to get in car with fob . Had to use key in door to get in . Stepped on brake and pushed start/stop button . Alarm now silent. Push start/stop button to shut off engine and message on dash read Keyless Start System Error. Engine still running. Pushed button again and AC shuts off , engine still running and dash still reading error. Put in driver, then reverse to park and pushed button again and engine shut off finally. Disconnect negative from battery and let sit overnight. Tried to start, but just kept cranking. Disconnect battery again, tried starting again and it started. This time it took me 10 minutes before I could shut off engine. Disconnect battery again and haven’t tried again. I’ve read about other people having the same issues. Most say start/stop switch. Mine is on order, will install asap and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

My fuel pump was causing some engine stalling and poor acceleration. It did not cause a breakdown but it could lead to flow disruptions of fuel, leading to potential breakdowns and costly repairs if not addressed promptly.

AC system is manufactured poorly and fails on me, starts blowing hot air, every single summer for the past 3+ years i have bought the car from a honda dealer. When i have to drive to my job to afford to buy food and an apartment the hot air makes me light headed and impairs my ability to focus clearly on driving. The problem has been reproduced by countless other civic owners within a set manufactured model years. Yes it has been inspected by a Honda dealership. No, never any warning, messages, or alerts before or during the AC failure. Also no warnings of the faulty AC system when i purchased the car from a certified Honda Dealer.

- #11612809September 5, 2024FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Twice lately I was following a vehicle towing a trailer with equipment on it. I noticed that the area on the dash which shows vehicles in front of me did not detect these vehicles or their trailers. I am concerned that automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise and forward collision detection will not work.
