ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Fuel injectors went totally bad at 93,000 miles on a car that has been VERY well taken care of and serviced several times a year. daily driver, no speeding or stunting or anything like that. Got into car and fuel injectors went bad and couldnt accelarate at all, all of the sudden. couldve been VERY dangerous. this is a larger issue and there SHOULD BE A RECALL. heard about this problem, extremely disappointed.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Air conditioning failure: The A/C was blowing warm air on the first day of ownership. • Cooling system failure: The vehicle subsequently experienced overheating issues and left me stranded. • Coolant loss and radiator leak: All Star Honda identified a leaking radiator and found the cooling system out of coolant. • Failed thermostat: A failed thermostat was identified during the diagnostic and repair process. • Stop-leak substance found in the cooling system: Stop-leak material was observed in the cooling system. I have concerns about why it was present and not disclosed initially • Water pump and cooling-system repairs: Repairs included work on the thermostat and water pump, followed by radiator replacement and a coolant flush. • Continued overheating concerns: Despite repairs, I continued experiencing overheating alerts. • Engine performance problems: The vehicle experienced a loss of power, with a reported inability to maintain speeds above approximately 60 mph during one incident. • Check-engine warning: A prior repair-order history documented a blinking malfunction indicator light during a driving incident. • Diagnostic trouble codes: Codes P2601 and P272D were subsequently reported. • Potential head-gasket concerns: The possibility of a head-gasket problem has been raised during the ongoing dispute. Honda has referenced a multi-model cylinder-head-gasket warranty extension, but I have not received approval for coverage on my vehicle. • Warranty denial: Honda corporate has declined to approve the requested warranty coverage. Despite the repeated problems, diagnostic visits, and repair attempts, I am still dealing with the consequences of purchasing a vehicle that has not provided the reliable transportation I paid for. I have spent time and money trying to get answers, and I have been left facing the financial burden of a vehicle that I cannot confidently depend on. I am sharing this timeline because consumers deserve trans

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
The response to an accelerator input on this vehicle is unreasonably slow and has many times resulted in an unsafe condition. When applying a significant amount of throttle from a stop, or a slow speed, the driver expects the vehicle to respond immediately. I would like to note, that I am not referring to the vehicle's rate of acceleration. I am referring to how long it takes for the vehicle to begin accelerating. During several controlled tests, I applied significant throttle and timed the response to nearly 3s before the vehicle began to exhibit any significant acceleration. I believe this can be easily corrected as it is likely a delay built into the software.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
I am reporting repeated, unpredictable loss of engine power and propulsion in my 2019 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T (approximately 146,000 miles). The exact cause remains UNKNOWN. On XXX, while driving on [XXX] near [XXX], my vehicle suddenly lost acceleration at highway speeds and eventually stalled. The vehicle repeatedly lost power, experienced crank-no-start conditions, and at one point could barely maintain 10 mph. I was stranded and had to have the vehicle transported to a Honda dealership in [XXX]. Diagnostic code P0087 (Fuel Rail/System Pressure Too Low) was recorded multiple times, including at 70–74 mph. Numerous warnings appeared, including emissions, brake system, electric power steering, stability assist, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation, and road departure mitigation. The unpredictable loss of propulsion creates a serious collision risk, especially on highways and in traffic. The Honda dealership initially could not reproduce the failure. After replacing the spark plugs at my expense, the vehicle was returned to me. Approximately 23 miles later, the malfunction returned, and I immediately brought the vehicle back without clearing any codes. Honda subsequently diagnosed and replaced the high-pressure fuel pump at my expense, but the loss-of-power issue continued. The vehicle previously received Honda’s in-tank fuel pump safety recall repair in May 2025. Despite that recall remedy and subsequent repairs, the vehicle continues to malfunction. The exact cause remains undetermined. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Honda dealership. Repair records and diagnostic information are available, and the vehicle can be made available for inspection upon request. I am requesting an investigation into this recurring safety-related loss of propulsion. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at highway speeds, the vehicle suddenly lost power and decelerated. The contact stated that several warning lights were illuminated and the vehicle decelerated quickly. The contact feared for her safety because of the sudden deceleration on a busy highway. The contact was able to guide the vehicle safely onto the shoulder of the road. The contact stated that prior to the failure, the vehicle had received several recall repairs including a BCM reprogramming, software updates, and fuel pump recall repair. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer and the vehicle remained pending a diagnostic test. The failure mileage was 62,590.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
I own a 2019 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T with approximately 75,500 miles. I brought the vehicle to Ryan Honda in Monroe, Louisiana, for Honda Campaign 26-091, which involved a software update to the ACC/CMBS Honda Sensing system. Before this campaign was performed, the vehicle had no ABS, VSA, brake-system, adaptive-cruise-control, collision-mitigation, or related warning messages. Approximately six hours after the dealer completed Campaign 26-091, multiple braking, stability-control, and driver-assistance warning lights/messages appeared. I returned the vehicle to Ryan Honda. The dealership diagnosed a failed VSA modulator/control unit and initially quoted approximately $1,785 for replacement. Because the failure appeared only hours after Honda performed software work involving interconnected driver-assistance and braking systems, I questioned whether the recall procedure, programming process, electrical conditions during programming, or resulting module communication could have contributed. The matter was escalated to a Honda representative, who reportedly consulted Honda engineering. I was told Honda engineering determined that Campaign 26-091 and the VSA modulator failure were completely unrelated and that the software update could not have caused the failure. Honda subsequently offered to install a used VSA modulator, reducing my cost to approximately $650. I understand that timing alone does not prove causation. However, I believe the extremely close timing between Campaign 26-091 and the sudden appearance of multiple safety-system failures warrants investigation. I am asking NHTSA to document this incident and determine whether other Honda vehicles receiving Campaign 26-091 have experienced similar ABS, VSA, brake-system, or Honda Sensing failures shortly after the software update.

AIR BAGS:SRS MALFUNCTION WARNING LAMP/LIGHT
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated the SRS warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel and notified the contact that the vehicle needed to be serviced. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the dealer was informed that there was likely a short circuit in the wiring harness and that the wiring harness might need to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that when there was a short circuit in the air bags and the air bags might not deploy in a crash. The contact decided not to repair the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 136,000.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, ENGINE, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
I am not sure if this would be considered an engine or electrical issue, but my 2019 Honda Accord sport loses power at takeoff. Press the gas all the way to the floor but still lags at take-off. I have to pull over, turn off the engine, restart then go which is a huge safety issue and is very dangerous. Also, all of the dash lights are on which causes all of the safety tools, sport mode, cruise control, all road assist tools, and auto start to be disabled. This has been an issue for about 3 years, and every dealer tells me that there is a recall on these items, but when I look up my vin, it says my vehicle is not included in any of the recalls listed. Even though all of the things happening are signs of the recall issued. Please help me in what I need to do to get my vehicle included in this recall and get my vehicle back to safety requirements.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Vehicle stalled and had a power system failure requiring driver to pull off to the side of a road that blocked traffic. The acceleration/drive function no longer worked. The vehicle displayed a POWER SYSTEM PROBLEM message on the dashboard and showed "DO NOT DRIVE". Vehicle was towed to HONDA dealership and they confirmed the fuel pump needs to be replaced. The vehicle had a replacement of the fuel pump in 2022 as part of a prior recall, but the same component is responsible for this situation four years later. Dealership is quoting $1,931 for repairs and Honda America is refusing to cover repair as they claim the 2022 replacement is not related to this incident. They will not confirm whether the parts supplier in 2022 were changed to account for the expanded recall that is part of an ongoing lawsuit settled in 2026 (to be determined when finalized).

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, ENGINE, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
American Honda Motors Co is recalling Honda accord turbos for fuel pump failure. Mine 2019 Honda accord 1.5 turbo failed High-Pressure Fuel Pump on 8/12/2026 and Miami lakes Honda service center charged me to replace the High-Pressure Fuel Pump. I requested Honda corporation the reimbursement and the refused because they say it's caused by cranking the vehicle, they let me know I can't crank/start the vehicle because it damages the pump (I have the email they sent me for confirmation.) and repair invoice as well. Also, the car has been smelling gasoline, The pump developed cracks in the solenoid core, which lead to fuel leaks, fuel smell while idling or driving, and an increased risk of fire, crash, or injury. I'm just requesting the reimbursement.

The SRS system intermittently shows inactive (red SYS light on dash) after starting to drive. When I stop and turn the car off and then on again the light goes away. It has been happening for a couple months now, and Honda says my car was manufactured 2 months before the date of the SRS system recall.

WHEELS, SEAT BELTS, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
This complaint details severe manufacturing defects, hazardous third-party wheel modifications, and an explicit failure to execute critical safety recalls on my 2019 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport (Actual Odometer: ~30,00original miles).SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY FAILURE: The passenger-side seatbelt assembly randomly unlatches and completely disconnects while the vehicle is in motion on public roads without user input, leaving passengers entirely unprotected. The dealership completely omitted and ignored this life-safety issue when presented.STRUCTURAL WHEEL COMPROMISE & LOSS OF CONTROL: Dealership-provided third-party wheels were reinstalled with a total failure to mask off or mill down critical mating surfaces. This left an uneven layer of powder coating directly between the rims, hubs, and lug seats, causing severe tolerance variances, rotational runout, chassis vibration, and severe tire cupping. Furthermore, high-temperature thermal baking has structurally degraded the cast aluminum alloy wheel centers under load.SAFETY SYSTEM BLACKOUT (THE DITCH INCIDENT): Because the un-milled wheel faces left the chassis unstable and fighting steering inputs, the vehicle failed to stabilize during a minor defensive steering maneuver to miss a deer. The car entered a ditch and impacted a signpost with the driver-side mirror. This impact has permanently illuminated central dashboard warning lights and completely blacked out the vehicle's entire advanced driver-assist safety systems (Honda Sensing), rendering it illegal and unsafe to operate.UNRESOLVED MANUFACTURER RECALLS: The dealership has neglected to process and execute two critical safety recalls active on this vehicle: Fuel Pump Recall 21-027 (which can cause engine stall while driving) and BCM Software Update 20-039. dealership's refusal to coordinate safe, independent transport to clear these critical factory safety faults while holding the car under a predatory billing dispute places the owner and public at severe risk.

ENGINE
The engine continues to overheat and shut down while driving. The engine often goes into "limp" mode while driving. The entire set of gauges and lights on the dashboard light up like a Christmas tree, alerting me that all systems in the car are malfunctioning. I fear that I may have a malfunctioning head gasket. I've replace injectors, radar sensors, new turbo, gas pedal, etc and I have spent nearly $10,000 dollars and MANY, many hours at multiple Honda dealers, across various different states. This car is a lemon and I am upside down on the value of the car and what I still have financed. I wish Honda would take responsibility for their new turbo driven CVT engines that are failing.

ENGINE, POWER TRAIN
The vehicle has a documented, severe manufacturing defect involving a cylinder head gasket leak under Honda Service Bulletin 26-006. A certified technician at Honda East Cincinnati confirmed the head gasket leak in writing on September 9, 2026. Prior to this, an independent facility pulled code P0302 (Cylinder 2 Misfire) and used a digital borescope to capture video proof of liquid coolant pooling inside Cylinder #2. Despite written documentation from both facilities confirming an active internal engine leak, American Honda Corporate and the dealership are refusing to honor the warranty extension. They are requiring me to continue driving an unstable vehicle until it actively throws a code on a proprietary dealership scanner. Forcing a consumer to drive a vehicle with a known, documented internal coolant leak risks sudden engine seizure, overheating, and catastrophic stalling on public highways, creating a severe and preventable crash hazard.
