ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
After vehicle is parked and locked, return to vehicle to start the vehicle and when start button is pushed get a 'stop safely' message and vehicle will not start. Has happened on 4 occasions, disconnect battery, reconnect, lock and unlock - wait and try again seems to be only repair. Dealer has no idea what problem is since he can't recreate the problem.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
I started the truck and safety systems all shut down: BLIS, Lane Keeping, Reverse Sensing, Advance Track, Rear Cross, Forward Collision...everything failed. It even turned my steering wheel to the right so it was not straight. I drove for about three miles, while stopped at a light a message said something about steering calibration and it straightened my steeling wheel to be back where is was supposed to be. The safety system shutdown has happened on three different dates.

SERVICE BRAKES
I was slowing down for a corner and was going approximately 5 mph when the emergency brake activated without any action on my part. The truck came to a stop with 3 or 4 jerking motions. I released the brake and continued with my drive. The truck had about 1500 miles on the odometer at the time and I have had no problems since. This week I heard of the recall which doesn't cover my truck.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
The morning of September 28th, weather conditions ranging from mist to torrential downpour. Between Glasgow, KY and Glendale, KY. Wipers were set between intermittent and fast, depending on conditions. On (5) occasions (it may have been six), when the wipers were changed from an intermittent position to fast, the wipers would malfunction. The wipers were in high speed. The wipers were about 1/4 way up from the rest position during the cycle and they STOPPED. The pause lasted between 0.5 and 2 seconds (my estimate). Then the wipers would go to full advance position and return to the home position in normal speed. Once the wipers passed the home position and started the next wipe cycle, they resumed high speed motion.

1. My 2023 Ford F-150 Powerboost Hybrid is receiving the Stop Safely Now message. The vehicle has failed to start on a few occasions. 2. The vehicle not starting left me in a position where the vehicle was inoperable. This is a safety concern because is would put me or my family in potential danger from the elements, inability to receive health care and potential danger from individuals of I’ll intent. 3. Yes. 4. Unknown. 5. Unknown. Although I received low voltage messages, I had no idea what that meant. The Ford app simply told me to drive the vehicle to charge the battery. I drive the truck daily.

Shortly after starting my vehicle and while still in the driveway the audio system blasted static at an unbearable volume. Had I been driving and not parked it was so loud and shocking that it could have caused an accident. I called the dealer but the technician was unable to advise what to do. I had purchased the vehicle just the day prior. There were no warnings or indications prior to the audio blast.

On 5/10/2023, at around 2 PM, when trying to start my truck after turning off in parking for about 2 hours. The truck won't be able to start with the "Stop Safely Now" warning. Tried all sorts of methods, jumping cable, jump pack, etc, it won't start. After calling Ford Road Side Assisstant, the mechenic was able to jump start it. On 5/24/2023, the truck won't start with the "Stop Safely Now" warning. This time, was able to start it after a few minutes of trying to start it remotely with Fordpass app. Took truck to the dealer, and the dealer had no idea how to fix the issue, which can happen randomly.

My truck is less than 1 month old and less than 1,000 miles. On two separate occasions, when attempting to start the ignition the engine will not start. A "Stop Safely Now" message appears on the dashboard, and the truck will power on the accessories only. Now matter how many attempts to turn on the ignition, the truck will not turn on. This leaves you completely stranded wherever you are. You do not know when this SSN message will occur, and can be a serious safety issue if being left stranded somewhere. There were no messages, codes, or other issues reported from the truck prior to this. The battery was checked and is sufficient. This is a problem with the powerboost hybrid engine in the Ford F150.

I am consistently getting an error message to stop safely now and the vehicle will not start. It is a known issue with Ford and they have promised a fix later this year. The vehicle has left my family stranded for hours at a time, with one instance in a medical emergency.

SERVICE BRAKES, STRUCTURE:BODY, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
1. Issue number one parking brake engages on and applies the brakes while the vehicle is moving. I had this issue happened to me at least three times; luckily I was not going very fast when it happened. Additionally, Parking brake light will come on at random times. (is not Auto Hold) 2. Multi-functions switch that controls turning signal gets stuck in the up or down position after engaging the switch to change lanes. When attempting to flip the turning signal to off the switch will get stuck and will only go back to off or neutral position after forcing the switch up or down. Additionally, when forcing the turning switch to the off position, it causes the high beams to turn on. 3. Pre-collision assist warning will come on at random times while driving. I have had this happen to me almost daily when I'm driving into work in the morning.

2023 Ford F-150 PowerBoost not starting VIN [XXX] 2475.8 KM Not sure whom to report this to, but Last night, May 22, 2023 stopped the truck to go to a meeting. When we left the meeting, at just after 8:30 PM and went to start the truck, it came up with a "Stop Safely Now" message on the screen, followed by a "Full Accessory Power Active", but the truck did not come up to the ready screen and the start stop button just kept on flashing a green light. Truck would shift from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive, emergency brake would engage and disengage but could not shift gears out of park. Tried getting out of the truck, relocking it, then re-entering it, and redid the start sequence, still no ability to drive. Called Roadside assistance and was advised that no assistance was available at this time and to call back after 8:00 AM and that they would arrange for a tow truck to come try and jump start the truck and if that did not work it would tow us to a dealer at that time. We attempted to jump start the truck with a friends vehicle, still no change, so we locked up the truck and hitched a ride home with our friend, who lives the complete opposite direction from us. This morning hitched a ride back to where the truck was left, it opened and started normally. Secondary issue is that the navigation screen on start up will often take a long time trying to load the map, if I switch to phone or other screen then back to navigation the map loads immediately, also the screen displayed a couple of solid colour views the other day then went back to a normal screen. The contact rented a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to slow down as needed. The contact stated that multiple unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 300.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
We were in a low speed situation. A car 2 cars in front of us was signaling a right hand turn. We began to slow down from approximately 25 mph to 5-7 mph. The car turning right stop short of completing their turn, the car immediately in front of us came to a complete stop. We were only traveling 5 - 7 mph behind and had plenty of room to stop. I depressed the brake further (we were already slowing due to turning vehicle) but the truck did not slow at which point I depressed the brake pedal as hard as I could. The truck did not slow at all in this time (no brake locking, no skid marks). We only came to a stop when we hit the stopped vehicle in front of us. Additionally, this vehicle has advanced safety features (forward collision warning and active braking assist) -- none of these features triggered. I have lost all faith in this vehicles ability given the situation. I contacted Ford customer service, they referred me to their Office of General Counsel and said to expect a response in 45 - 60 days. That is unacceptable to me -- I have a very expensive vehicle that I cannot drive as I do not trust it. I want to understand why all these systems failed, have them as well as my vehicle fixed or the vehicle bought back from me. I cannot wait 60 days for resolution.

This is a bran new vehicle. Power train failure indicated on screen. The transmission started jacking off leaving me with no acceleration. The truck was put in the dealership shop and repair. I picked it up about 4 weeks later. Drove it about 20 miles and the same thing happened again twice with in the 20 miles I drove. It’s back in the dealership shop been there about 3 weeks wanting on different parts then the first time they repaired it with.

When coming to a stop, say a stop light or stop sign, after a few seconds at a complete stop, the vehicle lurches violently forward. First time it happened, I thought I was rear ended, but no one was behind me. According tho hundreds of posts on www.f150gen14.com, it seems to be a known issue with the Auxiliary Transmission Oil pump, but dealerships are not acknowledging the issue or claiming it's a non-warranty issue. Regardless of that, the safety concern is the vehicle lurching into traffic, pedestrian, car in front, etc.
