On [XXX] at [XXX] PM I was driving westbound on [XXX] at [XXX] while traveling through the intersection, my vehicle started shaking, lost acceleration, and nearly caused me to have a collision. My vehicles check engine light began flashing, and I was able to safely exit the highway. On May 20, 2026, Crouse Ford diagnosed a “cylinder #6”, however attributed the event as “an anomaly”, and no corrective action was taken despite the seriousness of the safety concerns. Back piece of hardtop cracked on each side, front three pieces had honeycombing and ripples down each side that you could see and feel. The dealership warrantied them out , but my front three pieces still have issues. The dealerships also told me if this happens outside of my 3yr/36,000mi warranty that they will not fix the issue even though parts typically have a 2 yr warranty on them after being replaced. But, this isn't a normal part, this is my roof/hardtop. This is a safety concern. I never received any lights, messages, or symptoms that I know of. There could have been leaking water in the back part of my Bronco. The safety of others and myself were put at risk because, there were cracks in my roof and what if it cracked all the way through and broke off?

This is in reference to Safety Campaign 26S32. My fiancé owns a 2025 Ford Bronco 5 door and her roof has the same exact issue that is described in this safety campaign. Before the vehicle had 5000 miles on it the roof had already begun to show cracks, honeycombing and is beginning to show signs of delamination. The vehicle is going to our local dealer in a week to hopefully have the roof replaced under warranty but I doubt that permanently fixes the issue. Fords comment that they have resolved the issue is patently false. I will gladly send photos of the cracks as soon as possible but this safety campaign, in my opinion, should be extended to all of Broncos from 2021 to current.

- #11738370May 17, 2026STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Truck began scrolling warnings that pre-collision braking, hill start assist, forward collision, adaptive cruise control, and more were all not working. Alerts came out of no where while driving on highway and continued every 30 min to hour of drive time. Cruise control was disabled with this failure. Diagnosed with faulty steering-rack. This has been recalled on other 2022 Ford Broncos, but for some reason our was not included in this recall. This lot was clearly impacted as well. The truck is used for daily driving, does not go off-roading and was not involved in any collision or incident that triggered this, simply driving down the highway. Please let Ford know to expand the recall, our car is not safe to drive and is not inoperable unless we pay for the repair or the recall is expanded. Thank you for your assistance!

The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.

- #11737162May 11, 2026SERVICE BRAKES
On May 7, 2026 while driving approximately 18 mph, my Ford Bronco 2022 Outerbanks experienced a sudden loss of normal braking assist. The brake pedal became stuck in the upright position requiring excessive force to stop the vehicle. When the brake pedal went down the truck rolled to the curb and I put it in park. There was a warning sign on the dash that flashed and went away. I could not see what it was. Luckily there were no bystanders or other cars on the road at the time. I was near an elementary school at the time. This would have caused a crash or worse if there were pedestrians. I turned the truck off and called the tow. At the dealership they diagnosed and confirmed an electronic brake booster (EBB) failure. This EBB failure mirrors a recent recall from Ford affecting 2025 Broncos. The dealership has refused warranty because I am 6 months outside the warranty period even though I only have 29,960 miles. This is not normal wear and tear. The 2025 recall # is 25V488. This EBB recall may also affect previous years such as mine and should be investigated.

My husband was sitting at a stop light when he noticed what appeared to be steam/smoke coming out from under the hood of the Bronco. Then smoke came into the vehicle through the air vents. When he looked up, flames were coming out from under the hood. He got out and the whole front of the car burst into flames and torched the car.

when engine is cold and I go down a hill to a stop sign and apply the brakes , the brakes begin to engage almost fully then release and the Bronco lurches forward 6-8" and then the brakes grab and slam the car to a stop. This only happens on an incline and when the engine is cold or has sat for awhile. THe brake pedal is fully depressed and when the bronco rolls forward, there is nothing to do to stop it since the pedal is already fully engaged. I have taken it to the dealer numerous times to diagnose, but since there is not a hill or incline near them, they are not able to reproduce the same issue. I have videos of this happening and it is a known problem that has been diagnosed in the Ford bronco online forums. The dealer suggested I call Ford Service to report the issue and I started a case complaint. There are no warning messages or codes that are present that the dealer can find to explain the problem. The car is not safe to rely on due to the brake system currently and the dealer nor Ford corporate will do anything but document my issue.

I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my Ford vehicle’s infotainment screen failure, which has been identified under a recall but currently has no available remedy or repair timeline. When the screen goes blank or becomes unresponsive, I lose access to critical safety features, including the rearview camera, which is federally required. This significantly increases the risk of accidents while reversing, especially in areas with pedestrians. The system also affects access to navigation, hands-free communication, and important vehicle alerts, forcing me to either drive without these features or become distracted trying to compensate. Although Ford has acknowledged this issue, there is no clear timeline for a fix, and no accommodations have been provided. I am expected to continue driving a vehicle that does not meet expected safety standards, which puts both myself and others at risk. I rely on my vehicle daily, including transporting passengers, and the lack of a functioning safety system is a serious concern. The absence of communication and support from Ford regarding a resolution is also concerning. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this issue and require Ford to provide a timely remedy or appropriate accommodations, such as a loaner vehicle or interim solution, to ensure driver and public safety while awaiting a permanent fix.

Vehicle has Surged and stalled randomly, the Crash alert warning appears on screen and starts to stop the vehicle with nothing in front of it, I have asked my Ford Dealer to remedy the recalls as I have paid over $50,000 for the vehicle and they tell me sorry there are no fixes, I tried to trade it in, and they said they cannot because they have a no sale enforcement on the Bronco and they said if they took it in trade they could not sell it.

The steering is unsafe, my neighbor works at a ford dealership and said it’s the rack, which I also read online that it’s become a common problem, the steering has become very stiff. To the point where I have had to slam on the breaks at curves in the road just to be able to turn into the bend, which has almost caused two incidents.
