[XXX] Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located in [XXX] performed an airbag recall on my vehicle. The vehicle was put back together incorrectly, and the headliner, rearview mirror, and sunglass holder are all hanging loose. The driver's line of sight is obstructed in the rearview mirror because of the parts hanging loose. I am too afraid to drive the car without knowing that the airbag was installed correctly. I spoke with the general manager of [XXX] Dodge, [XXX], and he will not take responsibility. My local Dodge dealership, York Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, located in [XXX], has confirmed that the car was put back together incorrectly, but they said that Dodge will not pay them to inspect the airbag and correct the problems because they already paid the [XXX] Dodge to perform the recall. My car has been at York Dodge for a month because I refuse to pay for an incorrectly installed recall. Dodge and [XXX] Dodge in particular, are responsible for this. I cannot safely drive my car until this is corrected. I have attached a quote from York Dodge and they marked this issue as needing IMMEDIATE ATTENTION and the cost is $670.47. (There are other items on the quote, but that is the only item pertaining to the airbag recall.) INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2026 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start after refueling. Another motorist attempted to assist the contact with jumpstarting the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to start and was towed to a dealer. After approximately one week, the dealer replaced the main battery and performed several software updates. The contact stated that one month later, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle restarted while awaiting a second tow truck service and the vehicle was taken to another dealer. That dealer replaced the auxiliary battery and performed additional software updates. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 190.

- #11754637August 4, 2026PARKING BRAKE
The parking brake system on my 2023 Dodge Charger has repeatedly become loose and does not hold the vehicle securely. The vehicle has been taken to a Dodge dealership multiple times for adjustment or repair of the parking brake. After the most recent dealership service, the parking brake worked temporarily, but approximately one month later it became loose again and stopped holding the vehicle properly. The problem is especially concerning when the vehicle is parked on the sloped driveway outside my garage. Even when the parking brake is fully applied, the vehicle is not securely held in place and could potentially roll downhill, creating a safety risk to people, other vehicles, and property. The issue has been reproduced and confirmed through repeated dealership inspections and adjustments, but the repair has not provided a permanent solution. There were no warning lights or dashboard messages before the parking brake became loose. The main symptom is that the parking brake has little or no holding force when applied. The vehicle and parking brake system are available for inspection upon request. I am concerned that there may be a defect in the parking brake system because the problem continues to return after dealership service.

While parked in my driveway, the passenger rear side curtain airbag inflated on its own with noone in the car. The car cranks and operates correctly with no indication of a problem with the airbag system. This airbag had been replaced in September of 2025 due to a recall issued by Mopar. I have contacted Mopar and been assigned a case number.

After having been in the possession of my car for 2 weeks, it went into a "bricked" mode where it could not be started. The only fix was for it to be towed to a dealer who was able to disconnect the 12V battery and reconnect it. This allowed it to run but in a reduced capacity. One week later, it was bricked again. I had it towed to another dealership who replaced that battery. The battery was faulty and was causing the car to not get receive updates. Since then, this issue has happened one more time and I was able to "reset" the car by walking away for 15 minutes, allowing the computer to turn off then try again.

- #11746150June 24, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
We have leased this car since May of 2025. It has been in the Dodge repair shop over a dozen times for the electrical system warning light coming on. It had to be towed tot he dealer twice for it, other times it was drivable to get it there. This car is a complete Lemon and we are trying to get Dodge/Stellantis to pay us or preferably to buy it back and they are stalling. The car is a danger to drive as the forward collision does not warn you or apply the brakes ever as it was supposed to do. The electrical problems continue and this car is not safe to drive and Dodge needs to be issuing a recall to get these off the road. We have filed a Lemon Law suit and they are not offering enough money for the problems the car has.

- #11745544June 22, 2026POWER TRAIN, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I was driving on a slower speed road and felt a jerk, my car lurched forward a little and I got a bunch various errors for break regen system, front park sense errors and a few other random faults. The car entered "turtle mode" signified by the turtle icon in my gauge cluster. This is the second time this has randomly happened, the first time happened two weeks prior as I was taking an off ramp off a highway. I have taken this vehicle in for repairs and updates before for unrelated issues but there hasn't been any solid solutions to the other various software issues with this vehicle. This is a major safety concern because I have not been able to reliably replicate this, my speed and control over acceleration is cut and not within my control fully. I am worried that this could occur when I'm at higher speeds. I have been able to safely park and turn the vehicle off and back on so it hasn't been inspected by police or anyone just yet due to no accidents occurring, only dealerships.

The contact owns a 2023 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact was able to safely move to a parking lot; however, the vehicle could not be shifted into park(P). The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed with gear shifter failure. The gear shifter was replaced, but the failure persisted. The gear shifter message was displayed with the transmission and brake warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was returned to the independent mechanic for further inspection and was diagnosed with a loose cable connector. The cable connector was secured, and the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. A tow truck driver disconnected and reconnected the battery, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to a dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 33,000.

While driving today I came to a stop sign, stopped. Proceeded to go and the Forward collision camera and surround camera kicked on and played a tone with nothing in front of me. Then as I proceeded to get up to speed the cameras and surround would not shut off. Or allow me to exit the screen. The camera finally shut off after about 10-15 minutes of driving at highway speeds. This is not the first time this vehicle has done this.

My 2023 Dodge Charger SXT with approximately 26,000 miles has experienced multiple incidents where, while turning into traffic or accelerating from a stop, the vehicle loses the ability to continue driving and displays a message instructing me to shift into Park and then Drive. The electronic shifter becomes unresponsive, steering is affected, and I am left stranded in active traffic until I can restart the vehicle. The dealership has inspected the vehicle three times and has not repaired the condition. I have video evidence of the incidents. This is a recurring safety hazard that could result in a collision. Vehicle loses propulsion while turning or accelerating from a stop. Message displays ‘Shift to P then Drive.’ Steering and drivetrain responsiveness affected. Requires restart to regain function. Occurs intermittently in traffic

[XXX] [XXX] , [XXX] 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T (EV) (VIN: [XXX] Dick Poe Dodge, El Paso, Texas on XXX and is financed through XXX, El Paso (loan #60486681). Since owning this car, I have experienced frequent software related problems of which has left me stranded (3) three times with one time requiring a tow to the dealership for service. As well, my Charger has been in the shop 6 times for both software related and part failure related issues. The list of parts to date that have required replacement are: 120V battery and amp for factory exhaust system. Software related problems have included: not starting, not recognizing key fob to enter vehicle, vehicle error and check engine light and other warning lights such as the SOS system being offline. It has bricked 4 times. It has also made unexplained noises such as a knocking noise on start up which the manufacture said was normal, but the dealership service department didn’t agree. The Dick Poe Service Departments communication with Stellantis engineers have fixed each software and part issue only to have the same issues present themselves weeks and months at a time. I am a [XXX] XXX. The constant problems with this vehicle have worsened my PTDS symptoms due to the constant issues, problems, and required work. Vehicle is currently at Dick Poe Dodge Jeep Service this morning (6/1/2026) because the vehicle will not charge as well as not recognizing the key fob for entry/ exit, software updates, and an instrument cluster recall. The vehicle has experienced repeated failures associated with diagnostic trouble code P06DD. When the condition occurs, the vehicle is unable to exceed approximately 3,500 RPM and experiences engine stalling and loss of power while driving. The issue is intermittent but has occurred repeatedly. The vehicle has been presented to authorized Dodge/Stellantis dealerships on five separate occasions for diagnosis and repair. The oil pump was previously replaced for this issue at approximately 5,000 miles, yet the condition continues to recur. Most recently, the dealership advised that the issue was resolved and returned the vehicle to me. Within approximately 30 minutes of leaving the dealership and driving on the freeway, the check engine light returned and the same stalling and loss-of-power condition immediately reappeared. The defect creates a significant safety concern because the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate normally while operating in traffic and on freeways. When the condition occurs, the vehicle cannot exceed approximately 3,500 RPM stalls while driving, creating a risk of collision. The vehicle currently has approximately 21,000 miles and remains under manufacturer warranty. Despite multiple repair attempts, the defect has not been permanently corrected.

I went to have my car make/model Dodge Charger serviced and when I went to the dealership I told them the problem before they even got to look at it, because it’s a known problem with Dodge Charger SRT models. Stellantis hasn't put a recall out on the part called Mopar Exhaust Valve Actuator - Mopar (68505881AA). There is a detachable spring that can break over time and its a known common problem. The dealership told me that they can't just order the spring like they use to and customers have to buy the entire part which they told me is $700 and $100 to install it. We should be able to order just the spring which is detachable and not the entire part which is not the issue for my car. There should be a recall put out from Stellantis about this known common issue. I've called Stellantis and they said on the phone that they’ve created a case and that was it. I truly believe Stellantis is running a scam and just trying to rake in more money and having customers order $700 parts when they may just need a $30 spring replaced. This rattling noise with the active exhaust for SRT Dodge Chargers is a very common issue and can easily be searched online, but no recalls or warnings have been put out from Stellantis about it. I could see if the spring was not detachable. Its detachable, because it’s designed to be replaced. There are no warning lamps for my car and this issue can increase air pollution.

UPDATE: I have been trying to work with Gresham Dodge to return my car and trade it. They refuse to help me and Stellantis refuses to help me. They want me to eat all the money. They refuse to meet me half way on a new car. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. You will eventually regret it. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the US Consumer Protection Agency. UPDATE: The car has now been serviced nine times! Twice for the braking system, because we couldn’t stop, I almost got in an accident.iIt’s had many other issues! Still have never heard back from anyone at Gresham Dodge! Not one person! Stellantis refuses to take the car back. It’s been out of service over forty days all together over the six months I’ve had it. So, it sits in the driveway rotting. I will not drive it. I will not put my life or anyone else’s in danger. I’m making payments on a car I can’t drive! It’s imparitive that no one purchase from this slimly dealership! I’ll be reporting them to the BBB and the State Attorney General.Do not purchase your vehicle here. Sales are not knowledgeable on the cars they are selling. They just want a sale and you gone, so they can move on to the next person. I didn’t even have my car 24 hours and it had to go back for service. I will say, they were attentive, but only because they wanted a sale. They know nothing about how the cars functions. I got a text from the Service Advisor saying if I needed anything to let him know. Then a week later another problem popped up. I have text from the Service Advisor saying he would get me in on a specific day. We took the car in and he turned us away and said they were too busy. We wanted a fully loaded car. Sales never told us of any upgraded packages that the car could come with. We asked. They were only interested in offing what they had on the lot. I love the car, but this particular model comes with an upgraded package that I didn’t know about until having to watch You Tube videos to learn how to work

While traveling at 75MPH on the highway, the vehicle shut down. No propulsion at all and the error message "Pull Over Safely - Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon" was displayed. Was able to coast to a nearby exit and have the car taken to a dealer for service. Very unnerving at 75MPH and a significant safety hazard to me and other drivers.

After doing some grocery shopping for about 20–30 minutes, I returned to my vehicle, put it in drive, pressed the accelerator, and received no response for approximately 3 to 4 seconds. I then pressed the brake and experienced the exact same issue — no response from the system for about 3 to 4 seconds. I decided to shut the vehicle down, wait approximately 10 seconds, and restart it. After restarting, the brake responded immediately (as expected), but there was still a significant delay from the accelerator of about 3 to 4 seconds. I then drove to another parking lot approximately 0.2 miles down the road, parked the vehicle, walked around the store for another 20 minutes, and returned to the vehicle. At that point, everything worked as intended. The accelerator and braking systems both responded properly. On Monday, May 11, I went to the Carvana Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location in [XXX] , where I was informed by the Service Manager that they would likely need to keep the vehicle for over a month to troubleshoot the issue with Chrysler before they could attempt a resolution, since the entire electrical system is effectively locked down and controlled by FCA electrical engineers. Also, a loaner was not an option if they kept the vehicle. Less than 5,000 miles on this vehicle with clearly a critical issue and almost no attempt to help the customer.
