2027 Lexus IS Gains New Special Appearance Package

Lexus has announced an update for its 2027 IS sport sedan, introducing a new Special Appearance Package. This package, based on the IS 350 F SPORT, adds exclusive exterior and interior design elements, including a distinctive "Envious" green paint color. The 2027 Lexus IS is expected to arrive at dealerships later this year, with a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $47,545.

Special Appearance Package Details

The new 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package is built upon the IS 350 F SPORT grade. A key feature is the "Envious" green exterior color, which is exclusive to this package. Complementing the unique paint are 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels, contributing to a distinct visual presence.

Inside, the cabin receives black NuLuxe-trimmed seats with Ultrasuede inserts, providing a combination of texture and comfort. Green stitching accents are integrated throughout the interior, along with satin chrome-colored trim, to match the exterior theme of the 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package.

Performance and Technology Enhancements

The 2027 Lexus IS continues to be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering 311 horsepower. This engine is paired with a sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension, which adjusts damping forces to balance ride comfort with handling responsiveness. Drivers can customize the vehicle's characteristics through the Drive Mode Select system, offering settings from Normal to Sport S+ that alter throttle response, steering feel, and transmission behavior.

Rear-wheel-drive models equipped with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission benefit from a Torsen limited-slip rear differential. This component helps improve traction and cornering stability by distributing power effectively between the rear wheels. The IS also features Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as standard, which includes Automatic High Beams, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Road Sign Assist, and Proactive Driving Assist.

The interior integrates a standard 12.3-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen and a 12.3-inch TFT LCD digital instrument cluster. F SPORT Design models now come standard with a heated steering wheel. Audio is provided by a standard 10-speaker Lexus Premium Sound system, with an optional 17-speaker Mark Levinson system available. Connectivity features include two front and two rear USB Type-C charging ports, along with a Gen5 Qi standard wireless charging pad in the front console.

The 2027 Lexus IS lineup, including the new 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package, is anticipated to reach Lexus dealerships later in 2026. The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starts at $47,545 for the IS 350 F SPORT Design.

Other pricing for the 2027 models includes $49,545 for the IS 350 F SPORT Design AWD, $49,845 for the IS 350 F SPORT, and $51,845 for the IS 350 F SPORT AWD. All prices include a Delivery, Processing, and Handling (DPH) fee of $1,395.
