The in-service date is defined as when the vehicle was first delivered to the original purchaser or lessee, or when it was first placed in service as a demonstrator or company car. Coverage Details and Exclusions

An authorized Audi dealer will diagnose and repair the Virtual Cockpit if a warranty defect is confirmed, at no cost to the customer. If the diagnosis reveals an unrelated issue, those repairs and any necessary corrections will not be covered under this limited warranty extension.

It is important to note that this limited warranty extension does not cover repairs or replacements of the Virtual Cockpit resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration or modification, a collision or crash, vandalism, or other external impacts. Damage caused by a prior repair performed by a non-dealer is also explicitly excluded from coverage.

Important Owner Information

If damage is found as a result of the Virtual Cockpit, all consequential damage must be accompanied by photo documentation. This documentation must clearly show the concern, the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), and the date of repair. This information must be uploaded to the DOC-IT system and retained with the repair order for future requests. Any consequential damage must be claimed on the same claim line as the Virtual Cockpit Warranty Extension.

The warranty, as extended, is fully transferable to subsequent owners. However, it excludes vehicles purchased for the purpose of commercial resale.
