The vehicle's original in-service date is defined as the date it was delivered to the original purchaser or lessee, or if it was first placed in service as a "demonstrator" or "company" car, on that date.

Exclusions from Coverage

This limited warranty extension does not cover a repair or replacement of the leather dashboard resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration or modification, a collision or crash, vandalism, or other impact. Damage from an outside source or factor, including a prior repair performed by a non-dealer, is also excluded. Vehicles with a totaled status or salvaged title are specifically excluded from coverage under this Warranty Extension. If diagnosis reveals an unrelated issue, the diagnosis and any necessary repairs for that issue will not be covered.

Transferability

The extended warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners. However, it specifically excludes transferability for vehicles purchased for the purpose of commercial resale.

How to Determine Vehicle Eligibility

To check if your Audi is eligible for the Leather Dashboard Delamination Limited Warranty Extension, your dealer will need to perform a VIN check using the Elsa system. Within Elsa, navigate to the 'Vehicle Data' section. The 'Warranty' screen on the 'Vehicle Data' screen will display Warranty Key "U65" if your vehicle is applicable for this specific warranty extension.
