  SERVICE INFORMATION - This bulletin is to assist you in responding to customer questions about brake operation, and provides diagnostic and repair information for each item listed, if any should occur. - Most brake incidents fall into the following categories: a. Brake Noise: A squeak, squeal, clunk, or groan that occurs when the brakes are applied or released. b. Brake Judder: A vibration that can be felt in the vehicle, steering wheel or brake pedal when the brakes are applied. c. Pedal Feel: The effort needed to operate the brakes is too high or too low. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Verify the condition by road testing the vehicle with the customer. 2. Determine the specific brake incident based on the description in the Service Information above. 3. Follow the appropriate repair procedure(s), listed on the following pages, for your specific incident. See this bulletin for further details.

  SERVICE INFORMATION If a CD/DVD Player incident is noted, a possible cause may be improper CD/DVD disc care, condition, or usage. This bulletin provides updated CD/DVD Player operation instructions to avoid potential incidents/customer concerns caused by improper care and usage of CD/DVD discs. To aid in solving customer concerns, use the guidelines in this bulletin when speaking to customers or inspecting incident vehicles. - Customers must not use discs that are warped, scratched, chipped, cracked, have abnormal edges or are otherwise damaged. Damaged or poor condition discs may cause the Player internal mechanism to jam or have optical pick-up errors. NOTE - Do not make a Warranty claim against a Player that will not play damaged or poor condition discs as described in this bulletin. See this bulletin for further detail.

  IF YOU CONFIRM One or more of the following is occurring on an Applied Vehicle: -- Audio streaming via Bluetooth is "choppy" or "clipped." -- "Calculating Route" takes an extended period of time (2-5 minutes) to complete. -- "Could not find a route" displays when attempting to calculate a route. -- Voice Recognition sequence takes too many steps. -- Voice Recognition has difficulty recognizing voicetags. -- The Navigation system reboots. -- XM NavTraffic is slow to report. -- "Handset Phonebook" access is slow. -- When a hands-free call via Bluetooth is in progress and another call comes in ("call waiting"), there is no function available to answer the incoming call. -- Caller ID is not available when a hands-free call via Bluetooth is in progress and another call comes in.
