SummaryA customer may report one or more Body Control Module (BCM) outputs not functioning. Examples of these may include: Exterior lighting, Interior lighting, Sun roof blinds, Steering Wheel Adjust, Eco stop start etc... One or more of these symptoms may be accompanied by DTC U1000-00 (Solid State Driver Protection Active - Driver Disabled) present in the BCM. If DTC U1000-00 is not present in the BCM do not continue with this SSM. Continue to diagnose and repair the inoperative BCM output as necessary using Topix as a guide.

SummaryA noise from the underneath of the vehicle may be evident. The noise is most prominent during light throttle and low speed (for example: during car park maneuvers) and is independent of ambient temperature range. Under these conditions, a low-level, non-constant cyclical-type noise can be heard coming from the Center Exhaust system (Exhaust Valve) adjacent to the fuel tank.

SummaryOn vehicles installed with the high performance brake system (380mm diameter front brake disc), a 'squeal' noise may be heard from the front brakes during low-speed driving forward/backward, the 'squeal' can be heard also during moderate brake pedal application at low speeds, until the vehicle comes to a stop. The 'squeal' noise may resonate at frequencies of around 7kHz and 8kHZ.
