The 7" Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) began flickering constantly in January 2025 then stopped turning on altogether in May 2025. A similar issue led to safety recalls for Jeep Gladiators and Wranglers with 3.5" IPCs. This is much more concerning for owners with 7" IPCs, as these versions do not have analog temperature and fuel gauges. A dealership (Bayside King George, VA) first observed the flickering when test driving the vehicle after performing the last safety recall. I have not brought the vehicle back since the display stopped turning on because dealerships regularly charge ~$2,000 and hold the vehicle for an extended period to fix this with a replacement IPC. Losing the digital speedometer and ability to observe what speed the cruise control is set to, fluid temperatures, tire pressure, and battery voltage is very concerning, and it is puzzling why Jeeps with 7" IPCs, which are harmed more due to this fault, were excluded from this recall. While searching forums about this issue, it was apparent that this was a widespread issue for Wranglers and Gladiators with 7" IPCs.

Failed Right intake camshaft and roller rocker arm. Failure causes misfires and limp mode to be activated when trying to pass and accelerate and in my case was while going up a hill and unable to complete a safe pass of another truck. Known issue by Jeep and Stellantis as they have redesigned a kit for this specific part and upgraded software to increase pressure to the oiling system, but they have failed to replace parts and are 12000 orders behind on parts at ths current moment truck has been undriveable for greater than 45 days. Flashing check engine light and warning lights in place

While driving in rush hour traffic, stop and go driving, a service shifter message started to intermittently appear, then the forward collision warning message started to frequently chime in and off, then I lost power steering, check engine light illuminated, other messages auto start stop service, service sway bar disconnect, transmission was stuck in 3rd gear then after a stop it would not shift out of 1st even switching to manual shift mode, was able to pull over to side of road. Turned off the vehicle, used my code reader to clear the codes, started the vehicle back on and everything was clear and vehicle drove as normal. Sure glad it didn’t happen at speed! I have read of other people having the same issue so I wanted it to add my concern as well.

I was driving my 2025 jeep gladiator I just got on april 11th 2025, on the 2nd day I tried to stop and my jeep didn't want to stop, the jeep wanted to keep accelerating I had to put it into park to stop. I took it back but they weren't able to look at it. I drove it back home. It happend again a few weeks later I took it in but they didn't have a loaner, they were supposed to call me back on Wednesday, May 14th but I still haven't heard from the service dept, it happened to me again today as I was running an errand. I called the dealership again today and they were supposed to call me back today. Still no word from the service dept. I am a 100% disabled american veteran I got this vehicle to drive and now I am scared to drive it. I don't want this issue happening to anyone else. This is the 3rd time since I bought it on April 11, 2025. so first time 04/12/25, 2nd time May 14th, and 3rd time was today 5/16/25. I love my jeep but I am scared to drive it.

This is the information given to me by Van Horn jeep mechanic. also confirmed by advanced auto. On [XXX], the cluster of my 2020 Gladiator JT turned black. After searching similar issues online, I found that there is an NHTSA Recall Number: 24V-652, Manufacturer Recall Number: 30B that affects Models: 2020–2024 Jeep Gladiator. The Issue is summarized as follow: " The IPC may experience an internal short circuit, leading to a blank screen. This malfunction prevents the display of critical information such as speed, fuel level, and warning indicators, posing a safety risk". This is exactly what I am experiencing with my car. I entered my VIN number [XXX] on the NHTSA website but my car has no recalls. I'd like to file a formal request to have this VIN number included in the recall so I can get this issue fixed rapidly. This is a safety hazard as it distract the driver's attention and is in violation of federal motor vehicle standard 101. I am filing a safety complaint concerning my [Year] Jeep Gladiator (VIN: [Insert VIN]), which has experienced two high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) failures—the latest occurring on [XXX]. This issue is directly related to the Jeep HPFP recall previously issued in 2023. After the first HPFP failure, the fuel system—including the pump, injectors, fuel lines, rails, filter, and tank—was replaced under warranty using Jeep’s reengineered HPFP component. The vehicle then sat at the dealership for five months awaiting parts and repair. Jeep also issued a compensation check, which I accepted based on the belief that the reengineered pump was a permanent fix. However, the same failure occurred again on [XXX], requiring a nearly identical replacement of the full fuel system. The recurrence of this failure, even after the “fix” Jeep implemented through the recall, raises serious concerns about the reliability and safety of the reengineered HPFP. I am concerned this is a systemic design flaw that has not been resolved. To date, my vehicle has been out of service for extended periods, and these failures could result in engine stalling, fuel leakage, or loss of power, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. Jeep has not provided adequate assurance that the reengineered part will prevent future failures. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate whether the reengineered HPFP provided through the recall is effective and whether additional action is needed to protect consumers. Sincerely, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

When the windshield wipers are turned on all the dash lights go out. There were no warning lights to warn me of an issue with the electrical system. I called a Jeep Wave Specialist, and I was told to take my Jeep to a dealer to diagnosis the problem.

Engine began making a ticking noise and quickly began misfiring and displaying error messages. Dealership diagnosed issue as a camshaft failure, and which is a very common issue on the 3.6L V6. Issue happened on a rural road at night, but could've been a serious safety issue if it had happened in a different setting.

At highway speed the front suspension and steering wheel begin to shake violently after hitting a bump. This happens between 65 and 75 mph and I must slow to around 45 for it to stop. This is a well known problem with these jeeps and is referred to as "the jeep death wobble". I took it to the dealership for inspection under warranty and they found nothing wrong. 2 weeks later it did it 3 times on a short trip down expressway.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator dash Cluster failed on January 28. 44,267 miles, off warranty of 3 years, 36000 miles. No off roading to date. Deemed unsafe to drive by dealer. Part through Chrysler has been "ETA'd" a month at a time, despite weekly updates. I believe this should be reported and investigated throughout the consumer purchases. No warning, driver display went black while driving down the interstate. No idea on gas level, had analog speedometer and RPM, thankfully, but I was 40 miles from my dealer. Manufacturer to date has not "inspected" my Gladiator. They only contacted the dealer to indicate they are "expediting" my part order. Vehicle is available for inspection. It has been sitting outside on the dealer lot since Jan 28, 2025. It was never subjected to the elements prior to this incident: always garaged.

Instrument Panel Cluster went blank creating a safety issue. I cannot see my odometer, gas gauge, and oil and water levels. This is already a recall with other Jeeps but for some reason my VIN is not listed even though I have the same exact issue with my Jeep. My car has been deemed unsafe to drive and sitting at the dealership for 2 weeks now. They told me a part wouldn’t be available until mid-May resulting in me without a vehicle to drive to work in the meantime.

The engine was loosing power and fuel economy declined. What was found is that the intake camshaft lobes worn down on the intake camshaft, passenger side. This issue has been has been found to be prevalent in many vehicles with this same 3.6 liter engine. Found online was also a class action lawsuit from Delaware that has been issued for this very defect.

I started my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon to drive and the instrument display dash between the speedometer and RPM gauge went black. I can no longer access mileage or other equipment gauges (e.g. temp, oil pressure, etc.). This appears related to NHTSA Campaign 24V652000 but my VIN was not included in the affected VINs reported. Vehicle has under 80K miles and no misuse.
