SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a charging system lamp that illuminates briefly and/or intermittently, and/or diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B11DB:08 in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to a loose fuse terminal for the 3 amp fuse in the battery positive fuse assembly. If this condition is present, compare fuse removal effort between the 3A fuse in the battery positive fuse assembly and like fuses in the under hood fuse box. If removal effort for the 3A fuse is low, replace the battery positive fuse assembly to correct this condition. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 404-01 > Removal and Installation > Low Voltage High Current Fuse. For claiming, use causal part 14526 and M-time.

SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTCs P0096 and/or P007B in the powertrain control module (PCM), which may be more prevalent in high ambient air temperatures. For vehicles that meet this criateria, inspect the front of the vehicle for the presence of an aftermarket bumper and/or accessories which may restrict air flow to the charge air cooler and surrounding sensors. Remove the aftermarket accessory and return the vehicle to stock and reevaluate. If the concern returns with the stock bumper/accessories removed, proceed to normal Workshop Manual diagnostics.

SummarySome 2017-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with a 10R60/10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100 transmission may exhibit a whine noise at idle and/or while driving. This may be identified as coming from the bellhousing and the front of the transmission fluid pan. The whine noise may become louder when the transmission is at operating temperature and may increase with engine revolutions per minute (RPM) in the park (P) position. A small amount of whine noise is considered to be characteristic of the 10R60/10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100 transmissions due to the offset gear drivetrain in the front support and has no effect on durability. Use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of OASIS to submit a report if there is a customer concern of whine noise describing operating conditions and noise severity.

SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles may exhibit no 3rd gear engagement and/or a grinding noise going into 3rd and/or 4th gear. This may be due to the transmission shifting system and clutch interaction such as a lack of full clutch disengagement during shifts and/or placing weight upon the gear shift lever while driving. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the 3rd and/or 4th gears and/or synchronizers as needed.

SummarySome 2023 Bronco vehicles built on or after 12-Jul-2023 have new software for the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). This software contains enhancements to the operation of the window short drop feature. Vehicles with this new software will exhibit a short drop event to all door windows anytime the vehicle is unlocked using the remote keyless entry (RKE), accessory keyless entry keypad, or the interior door unlock switch. For vehicles equipped with passive entry, a short drop event will not activate when a door is unlocked by placing a hand on an exterior door handle. The Owner's Manual and Workshop Manual are in process of being updated. This enhancement is currently being investigated for application into vehicles built prior to this running production change. Monitor OASIS for updates.
