SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco (non-Raptor) vehicles built on or before 09-Jul-2023 may exhibit a fluid leak from the front drive axle pinion seal. This may be due to operating the vehicle under high load. If leaking, replace the pinion seal following Workshop Manual (WSM) section 205-03A > Removal and Installation > Drive Pinion Flange and Seal. To prevent subsequent seal leaks, the front differential fluid must also be replaced using the revised specification Motorcraftî SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant, part number XY-75W85-QL. Refer to WSM section 205-03A > General Procedures > Differential Draining and Filling. For claiming use causal part number 3254 with applicable labor operations in Section 3 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual and M-Time.
