RE2 RE3 RE6 RB4 RB5 RB6 Radio Enhancements This Bulletin involves updating the radio's software and if the vehicle is equipped with navigation (RB4, RB5 and RB6) the navigation software will also be updated. The customer may experience one or more of the following conditions: Phone screen buttons intermittently missing. Rear view camera screen may be blank. Improved rear view camera image. Radio presets and parameters returning to defaults. AM or FM audio mutes upon start up. Seek frozen, tuner locks up, unable to change stations (RE3 only). Radio resets (RE3 only). Presets are intermittently skipped (RE3 only). When playing MP3, iPod or USB songs, the screen will not always display the correct song title. Sirius Traffic/Weather Jump button improvement. Controls Screen popup time-out option has been added to settings screen (SRT only). Temperature and Oil pressure gauge enhancements (SRT only). Blind spot monitor chime enhancement. Flash: RB4 Radio Enhancements This bulletin involves updating the radio and navigation software, if required. A customer may experience, one or more of the following conditions: Radio display screen shows ?Test Mode?. Navigation screen locks up or display will be blank. Navigation feature lockout disable (International Only). Navigation system resets intermittently. Translation improvements/corrections. System consistency and operational improvements for menu selections, month/date formatting, and Garmin translation functions. Radio system improvements during remote start operation. Unable to adjust radio volume using steering wheel switch intermittently. Second screen is blank when using split screen function. The symbol of the car on the map will move erratic, Jerks, Jumps or Backwards. The indication of the highlighted path may be missing at times. Unable to add contacts to the favorite list. Unable to dial the phone from the radio, while still able to dial from the phone. Unable to delete a cell phone number from the favorite list. More space available for phone book entries. Blackberry support for playing songs. Reduce ticking noise during CD/USB pause and VR is silent between prompts. VR unable to transition from Non-navigation to navigation mode. iPod screen is displayed with navigation screen. Asian language translation added. Highlighted preset continues blinking. Takes more than one button press to select preset #10. Unable to adjust volume from steering wheel switches. Clock adjust pop up message displayed in English rather than current language. Can not connect to the phone after it has been disconnect. Teleprompter screen shows incomplete text. Some functionality for traffic & weather jump button. The following Transmission Control Module (TCM) calibration improvements are available for vehicles equipped with WA580 Automatic Transmission (Sales Code DGJ).3.6L Engine Poor powertrain response or performance when trying to accelerate from moderate vehicle speed in HOT ambient temperature conditions. Short shifting or surging during near to WOT accelerations with mild ambient temperature conditions . Transmission does not maintain vehicle set speed when cruise control is active and vehicle is traveling down steep grades. Hanging in gear complaints during HOT ambient temperature condition or when aggressively driving and WOT throttle is requested.5.7L Engine Hanging in gear complaints during HOT ambient temperature condition or when aggressively driving and WOT throttle is requested.
