  This Preliminary information communicates that a customer may bring a vehicle in with an SES light on. If the technician finds a code P2B87 (auxiliary coolant pump underspeed) set in the ECM they are directed to not replace the G17 heater coolant pump because this will not fix the concern. The techician is instructed to clear the code and release the vehicle to the customer with the explanation that an updated calibration will be released in the future to address the code setting.
