My vehicle has had numerous issues with electronics and cameras which have affected the ABS system. In addition to that there is a service bulletin for known issues of of the Rocker Arms failing which causes damage to the engine. While driving the vehicle no warning lights come on and the vehicle chugs and stops during driving which could cause a serious accident and injury. The rocker arms in this truck failed and cause further damage which has now caused the engine needing to be replaced at just 75,000 miles. GM service bulletins: PIP5847 & 25-NA-037

The rear 3 piece power slide window that is leaking water into the cab in my truck. I’ve called about a dozen different auto glass shops and this is apparently a common issue. It’s ruining my upholstery in my vehicle. GM wants to charge me 1,000+ to fix. This is unacceptable if it’s a common issue and something nobody can control. Please recall this issue.

Here are the details to incorporate into your GM complaint: Original symptoms: The truck vibrated and jerked during acceleration and at highway speeds. Dealership's diagnosis: The torque converter was slipping at 82 RPM, which the invoice states was outside GM specifications of 20 RPM or below. The technician also noted that the transmission fluid condition was poor. Repair performed: Chevrolet replaced the torque converter, torque converter front seal, torque converter bolts, and line seal; replaced the transmission fluid and filter; reset the transmission adaptives; and performed a test drive. Amount paid: $3,768.37 total for the January 2026 repair, including labor and parts. Since then the problem has started again and now my truck has been at the dealership since October 1, 2026

I own a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country with the 6.2L V8 (L87), covered by Recall 25V-274. I believe the remedy does not establish that my vehicle is safe, and GM has declined to confirm that it is. My truck was inspected under the recall in August 2025. It passed, and the oil was changed to 0W-40. I later returned to the dealer to complete the recall work, where the new oil fill cap was installed. Before the remedy, the truck had been driven roughly 30,000 miles on the original oil, including repeated towing during a move. NHTSA’s EA26005 states it has received complaints of engine failure after both the oil change remedy and engine replacement, and that GM reported thousands of complaints of post-remedy engine failure. My vehicle received the same remedy. I asked GM in writing to confirm my engine does not have the defect and will not fail or lose propulsion because of it, or to explain whether the inspection can determine the condition of internal engine components. GM did not answer those questions. Its reply stated only that the remedy was performed “to help affected vehicles avoid the defect condition,” that the new oil “offers increased protection against engine damage,” and pointed to extended engine coverage. I drive daily in the [XXX] of northern [XXX], on two-lane highways where passing requires the oncoming lane, on long stretches with no cell service and unreliable satellite coverage, and in winter temperatures that regularly fall below zero. GM’s recall filing states that if the engine fails during operation, “the vehicle will lose propulsion, increasing the risk of a crash.” Here, a sudden loss of propulsion is a serious risk to anyone in the vehicle. Warranty coverage does not address that risk, because it applies only after a failure. I ask that NHTSA consider my vehicle and these conditions in its investigation of the Recall 25V-274 remedy. I have an open case with GM’s executive customer care team. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.

- #11771419October 15, 2026FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE
The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 MPH with cruise control engaged, the vehicle suddenly lost speed, the check engine warning light started flashing, and the engine started sputtering. The electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control warning lights were also illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. Diagnostic trouble codes P0203 and P0303 were retrieved, indicating a fuel injector 3 circuit malfunction and cylinder 3 misfire. The fuel injector wiring circuit was corroded, and the fuel injector on the left bank was replaced. The contact contacted the manufacturer by telephone and was informed that the bumper-to-bumper warranty had expired and that the failure was not covered under the powertrain warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 51,042.

As I was driving, the vehicle threw a CEL and I saw the RPM’s fall. This happened multiple times, twice at an all-way stop sign, and once at a major intersection resulting in me being stranded with my vehicle in the middle of an active roadway, unable to move my vehicle. I brought my vehicle into the Chevrolet Dealership and the service department is claiming that I need to pay $1500 for a fuel pump with a CEL code that is not able to be duplicated. There is a TSB 24-NA-139 regarding my issue saying that it is not the fuel pump, it is the fuel pump control module. My issue is that the dealership wants me to pay $1500 for a fuel pump solely off of their “guess” of what the issue is. The bulletin calls out the P102B as one possible code related to the issues. I refused this service since this is just the dealership’s guess of what the issue may be and I believe the fuel pump control module should be replaced for free under the 8yr/80k federal emissions warranty. I requested that the dealership check the module as a part of the $245 diagnosis I paid for and they are insisting that the issue is with the fuel pump.

While driving at a low speed power steering failed. This happened on two separate occasions once while turning into a parking lot the other while doing a u turn. On both occasions I was almost in a crash. The other vehicle had a slam on brakes to avoid my truck. The message on the dashboard was “service power steering drive with care”. The steering wheel is yanked out of my hands each time it loses power. After the ignition is turned off for five minutes the issue is resolved upon restarting the vehicle.

I have a 2022 Chevrolet Z71 with a 6.2 l L87 engine. The motor blew up for what the recall is for from chevrolet. The crank and all that stuff seized up while my step son was driving it was told to burn Chevalier of rock. Hill, where they said, yep, this is the exact recall problem that we've been having with all these trucks. And the truck still isn't running, right? It's still knocking and making weird sounds and losing power after getting a new motor

I have a 2022 Chevy 2500HD diesel with 28,500 miles on it that recently went in for inspection. It FAILED the inspection due to the rear brake pads and rotors. These components are so bad that the rotors failed at less than 30k miles on them. Anything that has to do with a brake system puts everyone on the road at risk. The problem was repaired by the dealership at an astronomical price and other issues. No warning lamps or anything, in fact the brake pad wear sensor still read almost 40%.

I am reporting an engine failure on my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine, following completion of NHTSA Safety Recall 25V-274 (GM N252494000). The recall was performed when my vehicle already had over 150,000 miles. At that time, GM performed the oil-and-cap remedy rather than replacing the engine. Approximately 9,000 miles after the recall repair, at approximately 193,000 miles, the engine began making knocking noises and subsequently required replacement. There was no low-oil warning that we observed before the failure ( both in the vehicle nor on the app) and we were not aware of any oil leaks. The vehicle had also been serviced by our local mechanic approximately 3,000 miles before the failure, at which time the mechanic advised that an oil change was not necessary. I am concerned that this failure may be related to the connecting-rod or crankshaft defects identified in the original GM recall and that the recall remedy may not have adequately corrected the problem. I am requesting that NHTSA review this complaint as a possible engine failure following completion of Recall 25V-274 and consider it in its investigation of post-recall engine failures. This vehicle is currently at a dealership waiting for an engine replacement. In speaking with the service manager at this dealership, he agreed that this was related to the recall and actually said to me that he felt that by replacing the oil with the heavier oil (as recommended by the recall), is probably the what caused the engine failure.

I was at a stop light. Let my foot off brake vehicle revved up and I launched into a vehicle in front of me. Check engine light was on before. Blinking, esc fault , forward collision detection was not working, traction control service light. Throttle body control issue detected code P0205. Valve timing issues detected codes p0353 p0355 p129f p0300. The wire above my shock bolt is completely cut into. GM did an investigation and said no issues were detected at all. There is a TSB for the wire chafing

I own a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Texas Edition with 51,000 miles, equipped with the factory multi-camera system and rear backup camera. The camera images are clear and all cameras function normally, but the forward/reverse guide/trajectory lines no longer appear. When the cameras are activated, a blue hourglass appears in the upper-left corner and the guide lines never load. This is a safety concern because the guide lines help the driver judge the vehicle's path and distance when backing up and maneuvering in tight areas. The loss of this feature reduces the functionality of the factory safety/parking camera system. I took the truck to an authorized GM dealer. They diagnosed a front camera issue and recommended replacing the front camera located under the hood, at a cost of approximately $1,000. I questioned why the camera should be replaced when the camera image itself is clear and functioning normally. The dealer identified DTC B1A68, Failure Code 0x76, and also provided a report showing numerous additional communication faults. The dealer said I should not be concerned about the other codes. Diagnostic codes reported: B1A68 (0x76), U0101, U0102, U0131, U0140, U0146, U0151, U0155, U0265, U0422, U160F, U1610, U1611. I am concerned that replacing the front camera may not correct the actual cause of the missing guide lines, particularly given the multiple communication faults. This could involve the camera system, software, calibration, CAN communication network, or another component. I am requesting that NHTSA document and investigate this complaint as a potential safety-related defect affecting the camera/guide-line system on 2022 Chevrolet Silverado vehicles. I believe the loss of the factory guide lines is a safety concern and could affect a driver's ability to safely judge the vehicle's path while reversing. the camera also doesn't detect cars or people now. my seat use to vibrate I have the dealer's diagnostic report available as supporting documentation.

I have the 6.2l motor and this motor is failing AGAIN. They did the pick test and I did not qualify for the recall. But my truck is making the same noise again before it blew. The Chevy dealership informed me that it was the valve train that was causing the motor to blow. But this is the second motor. How can the second motor have the same problem right? Well this motor is now about to blow and again the dealer said it’s the valve train. The noise is coming from the lifters and the variable valve train and the mechanics of the valve train are what is causing the to blow. This is a main reason why the motors are blowing even after the new oil was changed. I don’t know what’s to do with this truck because it is out of warranty and it is about to fail
