BMW has identified an issue where the lane change warning in the exterior mirror of the 2025 BMW 330i may not light up brightly enough. A software update is available to correct this, and owners are advised to contact an authorized BMW center for a free repair.

BMW has issued a delivery stop, SIB 61 26 24, for certain 2025 BMW 330i vehicles. This stop prevents the sale of new, certified pre-owned, or used vehicles until a potential issue with the underbody ground cable is resolved. Owners should be aware that affected vehicles cannot be delivered until…

RE: Federal Safety Defect Crash Report & Evidence Preservation Notice Associated Recall: NHTSA Recall 24V-104 (BMW Integrated Braking System Defect) VIN: [XXX] Vehicle: 2025 BMW 330i Date & Time of Incident: [XXX], at approximately [XXX] INCIDENT SUMMARY & DEFECT DESCRIPTION: On [XXX], at approximately [XXX], I was operating my 2025 BMW 330i (VIN: [XXX]). While executing a reverse maneuver, the vehicle experienced a sudden electronic failure of its Integrated Braking (IB) system. The brake pedal instantly locked up, becoming rock-hard and completely unresponsive to mechanical pedal force. Due to the complete loss of power braking assist, the vehicle could not be slowed or stopped, causing a complete loss of vehicle control. This resulted in a vehicle spin, a structural collision/impact, and full airbag deployment. The vehicle’s onboard diagnostic system caught this internal electronic component failure and transmitted an emergency brake system warning to my mobile app at [XXX]. CORRELATION TO KNOWN RECALL: This failure directly aligns with active NHTSA Recall 24V-104 for an internal electronic short-circuit within the Integrated Braking System module, causing a sudden, total loss of power braking assist. DEMAND FOR EVIDENCE PRESERVATION: I demand that all electronic control units (ECUs), Event Data Recorder (EDR) "black box" logs, freeze-frame failure data, and the Integrated Braking System module be safely preserved without modification, overwrite, or code-clearing for forensic data download and investigation INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Before the collision, my 2025 BMW 330i stalled when I tried to accelerate, so I moved into the right slow lane. The vehicle also stalled during the collision. My VIN lookup shows an unrepaired recall involving the starter-generator. I do not know whether the recall issue caused the stalling. My windshield was foggy, limiting my visibility on the left side. I could see to the right and saw another driver trying to go around me. During impact, I tried to regain control, but the steering wheel felt stuck. My vehicle rolled over. I cannot determine whether the visibility or steering conditions contributed to the crash. Dealer refused to let me inspect the vehicle, would not release the footages on bmw drive recorder. witnesses on chp report stated the rear end collision sent my car up an embankment and flipped 2-3 times in the air before landing on its wheels
I have had to replace 6 of these tires on all wheels within in year as they develop bubbles even after almost being new with little mileage. I know of others who have similar problem. The service persons tell me that I am not alone with this issue. My son in his brand new BMW with same tires just got a bubble with 3K mikes on it.

My car was parked overnight, and the windshield had a huge crack from the bottom left (meeting at the hood) all the way to the middle of the windhsield. There is no sign of a physical impact that caused the damage such as a rock. I took the car to the dealership, and they confirmed it was a clean break and they don't see any impact damage either. They called in BMW North America's master tech to try and approve the warranty claim, and he ultimately denied the claim as I had a radar detector on my windshield, and the small suction cup had enough tension to crack the windshield from the hood of the car to about 3 inches where the radar detector sits. I believe if a suction cup from a small radar detector that weighs about .5 pounds was powerful enough to break the windshield, there is a serious safety concern of the reliability of the windshield.

I live in a suburban area of [XXX] where street lighting is sparse. At night, I depend on the rearview camera of my BMW 330i XDrive to help me park or back out of my driveway. When I shift into reverse, the view within the green pathway is acceptable, but visibility outside this area is quite poor, making it hard to clearly see or spot any objects or animals near my car, which raises safety concerns. This limited visibility occupies nearly 65% of the vehicle’s screen space, complicating the detection of nearby objects. I own two BMW 330i XDrive vehicles, and their rearview cameras behave very differently at night—one delivers a clear image, while the other does not. I brought the car to the dealer and reached out to BMW Customer Service, but despite providing photo evidence and leaving the car at the dealer for two weeks, they found no problems. I asked to speak with BMW engineers about the issue, but was refused, being told that this was the extent of their troubleshooting. This problem isn’t exclusive to the 330i XDrive; other BMW models appear to have the same issue. I found similar complaints on online forums, though the only explanation offered attributes it to the car’s light exterior paint. Regardless of the car's exterior paint, I should be able to safely reverse my car while I park or while I get out of the driveway.
