SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 12-32 dated August 2, 2012. Wheel bolt requires torque adjustment. Torque sticks, torque extension bars, and impact guns/wrenches are not approved by Audi of America, Inc., and should not be used to apply torque to wheel bolts. Always use a calibrated torque wrench to attain the correct wheel bolt torque and follow the proper wheel tightening procedure as outlined in Elsa. Proper use of a calibrated torque wrench ensures that all wheel bolts are tightened equally and reduces the chances of repeat repairs. Using methods other than a calibrated torque wrench to attain correct wheel bolt torque may lead to problems.

SummaryThis document contains the Audi vehicle detail report. DO NOT use accessories (radio, etc.) while performing detail, as this can discharge the battery. Refer to TSB 2009967 for Detailer responsibilities, specific use of chemicals, and for part numbers to order materials. Only operate power convertible top with engine running to conserve battery power (A5/S5 Cab, R8 ONLY) DO NOT allow convertible top to remain in a partially opened or partially closed position for longer than 5 minutes. This will cause the top to stop functioning and will require service (A5/S5 Cab, R8 ONLY) DO NOT treat vehicle parts painted with matte finish paint using polishing materials or hard wax. NEVER use protective wax. It can destroy the matte finish effect. Only use a microfiber cloth for cleaning (R8 ONLY).

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-77 dated September 23, 2013. Audi Lane Change Assistant deactivates or is sporadically inoperative when the vehicle is driven in slow-moving stop-and-go traffic, especially on roads with multiple lanes. The message "Audi side assist unavailable: Sensors blocked" appears in the driver information system. The system is able to be activated approximately ten minutes after the traffic condition is removed, or after an ignition cycle. DTCs are stored in the Lane Change Assistance control module. Audi Lane Change Assistant can be activated without issue. No obstructions can be found on the outside or inside of bumper. No re-work of the bumper can be found. The control module mounting brackets are securely fastened to the lower rear bumper, and no damage is found on the inside or on the outside rear bumper area. The control module mounting brackets are not broken or loose. In certain normal driving conditions, the Audi Side Assist system can automatically deactivate, and the driver information display shows the "sensors blocked" message. This is normal, as the nature of certain driving conditions can make it difficult for the Audi Side Assist system to track vehicles.
