Subaru of America unveiled limited-production 2027 Subaru WRX GD25 and 2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15 anniversary editions at Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania. These special models commemorate 25 and 15 years of the WRX and BRZ, respectively, in the U.S. market, featuring distinct styling and performance enhancements. 2027 Subaru WRX GD25: Rally Heritage Edition

The 2027 Subaru WRX GD25 is a tribute to the first WRX model introduced in the U.S. in 2002, which carried the "GD" chassis code. Production is limited to 350 units. This edition is exclusively finished in World Rally Blue, paired with gold-painted 19-inch alloy wheels.

Performance upgrades include uprated Brembo brakes with gold-painted calipers and Bridgestone Potenza S007 high-performance tires. The exterior features a dry carbon fiber swan-neck rear wing from Subaru Tecnica International (STI), identical to the component used on Travis Pastrana’s ARA25L rally car. Under the hood, a flexible strut tower bar enhances chassis rigidity.

The suspension system is performance-tuned with stiffer springs and revised damping calibration, working with the Potenza S007 tires to improve cornering stability. Power comes from a 271-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine, paired with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The interior features performance-design Recaro seats with black Ultrasuede inserts and red accent stitching, alongside an STI shift knob. The WRX GD25 is exclusively available with a 6-speed manual transmission and an STI short shifter, with deliveries scheduled for summer 2027.

2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15: Lightweight Sports Car Tribute

The 2027 Subaru BRZ ZC15 celebrates the first-generation BRZ, which arrived in 2012 under the "ZC" chassis code. This edition is limited to 300 units and is painted exclusively in Ceramic White, a color unique to the ZC15. It features matte bronze wheels, red-painted Brembo calipers, and unique bronze decals near the side sills, a styling cue reminiscent of the 2020 Subaru BRZ tS models.

Additional exterior details include a black decklid spoiler and a flexible V-bar under the hood. The BRZ ZC15 is powered by a 2.4-liter, 228 horsepower SUBARU BOXER® engine, driving the rear wheels exclusively through a 6-speed manual transmission.

Inside, the ZC15 distinguishes itself with black leather-appointed upholstery and Bordeaux red inserts, which are not found in other BRZ models. A unique "ZC15" anniversary edition plaque is also present, along with an STI aluminum and leather short shifter. The 2027 Subaru anniversary models like the BRZ ZC15 are set for availability in early 2027.

Availability and Market Information

A total of 650 anniversary units will be produced across both models: 350 units of the WRX GD25 and 300 units of the BRZ ZC15. Reservations for these limited-edition vehicles are expected to begin in 2026. The BRZ ZC15 is anticipated to arrive in early 2027, followed by the WRX GD25 in summer 2027.
