Lexus has announced a new partnership with HYROX North America, positioning itself as the Official National Vehicle Partner for the 2026–2027 fitness racing season. This collaboration aims to connect Lexus with the growing health and wellness community through various event activations and a unique vehicle build. The initiative highlights Lexus's engagement in performance-oriented lifestyles.

Partnership Details and Event Activations

As part of the agreement, Lexus will be prominently featured at all HYROX North America races throughout the 2026–2027 season. The brand will host an exclusive activation, the "Lexus Performance Challenge," at eight selected events. This challenge will invite both athletes and spectators to participate in a vehicle-inspired running activity within the Partner Village.

The Lexus Performance Challenge is set to debut at HYROX Boston, scheduled for October 8-11. Following its premiere, the activation will travel to several other U.S. cities. These include HYROX Denver (November 12-15), HYROX Dallas (November 18-22), HYROX Nashville (December 9-13), HYROX Chicago (February 11-15), HYROX Phoenix (February 25-28), HYROX Miami Beach (March 26-28), and HYROX NYC (May 27 – June 7).

The GX x HYROX Custom Build

A key feature of the Lexus HYROX partnership is the "GX x HYROX" custom vehicle build, which will also be unveiled at HYROX Boston. This one-of-a-kind Lexus GX has been modified to serve as a mobile training and recovery hub. The exterior is equipped with integrated CENTR workout equipment, including full-height wall-ball targets, and secure rear storage for items such as kettlebells, sandbags, and sleds, transforming it into an outdoor training platform.

Inside, the custom GX is designed as a premium recovery lounge. It features red-light therapy, massage seating, refrigerated storage, and Blackroll gear. This interior setup is intended to support athletes with pre-workout preparation, during-workout breaks, and post-workout recovery. The concept vehicle will be available for attendees to explore at the same eight HYROX events hosting the Lexus Performance Challenge.

Broader Engagement

Beyond the dedicated challenge and custom vehicle, the Lexus HYROX partnership extends Lexus's presence across various aspects of the HYROX race experience and digital platforms. This includes "Lexus Fast Lane" floor graphics integrated along the inner lane of the running course, ensuring brand visibility during races. The Lexus logo will also be featured on the iconic finish ramp carpet, providing branding for athlete photos and celebrations.

Lexus will also be integrated into event signage and benefit from social media amplification through collaborative posts and campaigns. Cynthia Tenhouse, vice president of Lexus Marketing, noted that the partnership aligns Lexus's values of performance, determination, and community with HYROX. Moritz Fürste, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at HYROX, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing a shared belief in performance, innovation, and community power.

This partnership signifies Lexus's strategic move into the fitness racing sector, aiming to connect with a health-conscious audience. By providing interactive experiences and a specialized vehicle concept, Lexus seeks to demonstrate its brand values within the athletic community and engage with enthusiasts across North America.
