Acura Unveils Custom 2026 ADX CZ-77 Concept with Coco Zurita

Acura has unveiled a unique 2026 ADX SUV, dubbed the "CZ-77 Concept," developed in collaboration with BMX athlete Coco Zurita and action sports brand Vans. This one-off vehicle incorporates design elements and materials inspired by Vans sneakers and extreme sports culture. The custom ADX is scheduled for its public debut on October 24 at Vans headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.

Unique Design and Collaboration

The ADX CZ-77 Concept showcases extensive exterior and interior modifications that reflect Zurita's personal style and passion for motorsports. On the exterior, the vehicle features 19-inch Rotiform wheels with aero discs, complemented by a custom carbon-fiber aero body kit and fender flares. A purpose-built rear structure is integrated to secure and display a BMX bike, while custom graphics draw inspiration from the Vans x Coco Zurita shoe campaign.

Inside, the custom Acura ADX adopts a Vans-inspired theme, utilizing approximately 90% of fabrics supplied by Vans North America. These materials are consistent with those found in the brand's high-performance Skate and BMX footwear, directly embedding Vans' design DNA into the ADX interior. The cabin also includes Sparco bucket seats, a Sparco steering wheel, an NRG harness bar, and a custom center console with CZ-77 design elements, alongside a rear-seat delete for a more performance-oriented feel.

The Athlete and the Brand

Coco Zurita, a prominent BMX athlete with multiple X Games podiums, has a history of collaboration with Acura. His previous projects include a custom 2023 Acura Integra, which debuted at the 2022 SEMA Show, and a 2024 Acura TLX Type S build, revealed at the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. This latest Acura ADX custom concept celebrates Zurita's 20th anniversary with Vans and Vans' 60th anniversary, further cementing the relationship between the athlete, the automotive brand, and the action sports company. Zurita's limited-edition Vans shoe will also be released concurrently with the vehicle's public unveiling.
