Important Owner Information and Warnings

For vehicles equipped with the Audi Phone Box (Model # 4MØ Ø35 456 A, FCC ID RK7MBC-NAR), specific Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requirements apply. This device is for consumer use, and owners MUST REGISTER THIS DEVICE with their wireless provider and have their consent before use. While most providers consent to signal boosters, some may not.

Owners MUST operate this device with approved antennas and cables as specified by the manufacturer. Antennas MUST be installed at least 20 cm (8 inches) from any person. Operation of the device MUST cease immediately if requested by the FCC or a licensed wireless service provider.

A critical safety warning states: "WARNING. E911 location information may not be provided or may be inaccurate for calls served by using this device."

Delivery Inspection Checklist

Before customer delivery, dealers are instructed to:

• Inspect the exterior for any damage, dings, dents, or surface scratches.
• Verify the vehicle is equipped as specified and all accessories are installed.
• Check the interior for cleanliness and ensure floor mats are locked in place.
• Set tire pressures to "normal customer load" conditions and calibrate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

• Complete myAudi registration, Audi connect trial activation, and key user verification. Customers must agree to Audi connect Terms & Conditions and set a 4-digit S-PIN in the myAudi smartphone app.

• Exterior: Advising on using only Audi-approved oil and top-tier detergent gasoline, and reviewing the new exterior/interior electric door handle concept.
• Interior Driver Controls: Demonstrating instrument cluster, driver information systems, steering wheel controls, exterior and interior lights, ambient LED interior lighting, automatic climate control, power outlets, glove box, and the valet button. This also includes power windows with retention, one-touch operation, and pinch protection, as well as power-adjustable, heated, and auto-dimming exterior side mirrors. Manual and power rear window sunshades, sunroof operation, and the auto-dimming interior rear view mirror with digital compass and HomeLink® garage door opener are also covered.
• Steering: Demonstrating the multifunction steering wheel, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering column, steering wheel mounted shift paddles, and heated steering wheel (if equipped).
• Seating: Demonstrating seat adjustments, heated front and rear seats, split folding rear seats, ventilated front seats, the "Passenger Side Airbag Off" light, LATCH childseat-mounting points, spare tire access, and massage seat functions (if equipped).

They also explain the "Text to Phone" features and review the recommended maintenance schedule. Audi Care information and programming the 24-hour Roadside Assistance number (1-800-411-9988) into the customer's phone are also part of the process.
