SERVICE BRAKES, ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Brake assist failed at time of accident, it never came on. It does come on sometimes in the past when it shouldn’t. I was breaking because a car came to a complete stop in front of me, there was no warning and despite my best effort to brake the car still made contact with other car in front of me. I have not yet taken the car to a dealer. The car has not been inspected. No warning lights. However, in the past the car would stop randomly for no reason. Also it has a hesitation when you hit the gas.

TIRES
Tire size: P 175 / 65R 15 84 H I purchased these tires through Walmart in 2022. Now, all 4 of my tires have had multiple cracks in the sidewalls. The front passenger tire was flat when I went to drive, and was replaced with a new tire of the same kind on XXX. I don’t feel safe driving with these tires knowing they can deflate at any given moment. There should be a recall issued by the manufacturer. The mechanics at Walmart Auto said that this is not normal for [XXX] tires, and I’m looking for a way I can be refunded. SERVICE BRAKES, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
The vehicle do unnecessary abrupt breaking in the highway when the road are reduced due to reparation. In addition in two times, when I tried to park to my garage in the back of other vehicle the breaking system related to collision is activate. This area of my garage is an inclined drive way zone and I put the vehicle back to other. In occasions when I go out to my residence, I need to go thru a control system that content a electrical barrier (electric arm), and around 4 or 5 times, when I close to this area the car did a hard stop, and the collision red light turned on with a beep sound, the same indication when the car activate the breaking system in the highway and when I try to park in some times to my garage. The most critical issue is when hard stooping in the highway due to in these times the other vehicles claimed me why reason I stopping without any reason, and them are very close to collision the back of my car. When this happen the sound of the tires of my car can be ear clearly the hard stopping. I very disappointment and very scare this defect was and will be in danger my life, due to the dealer retailer that I buy my car don't found any issue after my notification and I had no choice open a case directly with the Toyota, and now the dealer retailer will do an a correct inspection but I need to pay for this, is incredible due to my 2020 car only have 18,000 used miles.

I have come across multiple post online of other people who had their axle beam failed. - Rear Axle Beam Broken. - Once the axle beam is broken while driving it can lose control and cause a major accident. - Problem has been confirmed by local service center. - Not sure. - No lights on dash.

Car was in park, ignition off, with the keys removed. The gear shift could apparently move in this locked position and the vehicle rolled backwards with a 6 year old child in the car. The car was totaled after hitting a concrete base to a light fixture. A failure occurred that allowed the car to shift gears off and in park.

Vehicle has safety recall, vehicle may stall at high speed, Toyota dealership replace fuel pump after replacements check engine light came on same day, and after few thousand miles light also came on , never fix the problem, now they charged me $280.00 to do the diagnostic check engine light even though that i purchased extended warranty for 125,000 miles and they also want to charge me $930.00 for engine de carburetor and test again…Thanks

I would like to point out that both Driver and Police Officer safety may be improved if all vehicle designers and manufacturers were to disrupt the convention of locating caches for the drivers vehicle registration information at or below driver shoulder height. It may be a fairly inconsequential to implement a design standard so that the paper copy of a drivers registration and insurance would be neatly and preferentially stored at a height relativistic of the drivers shoulders so that every driver would naturally move through the motion of raising their hands into the air to retrieve requested registration information

The contact owns a 2015 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the seat belt light flashed on the instrument panel, indicating that the seat belt was not being worn. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the wiring harness. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The contact owned a 2019 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that after his wife had arrived at her destination, a short time later she was made aware that the vehicle was on fire. Upon arriving on the scene, the contact's wife observed a fire originating in the engine compartment. Local emergency services were called and were able to extinguish the fire. A police and fire report was filed, but no injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 72,000.

Car driving with no one in front and brake assist went off on own. Also car driving and electrical system in car shut down and lost control of car. Then all dashboard lights came on, was able to regain control and pull in parking lot. Shut car off. Hooked up ODB. No codes. Then started car and ran fine. Had burning electrical smell.

This 2020 Yaris is registered to me but driven by my daughter to her workplace less that 3 miles away. The first incident involved the engine laboring to start and when she came home, the battery was dead. I was able to re-charge the battery at home but 2 days later, the car would not start at home. I have an auto engine scanner that registered a P2610 code stating "an Engine Control Module, ECM/PCM Engine Off Timer Performance". The battery had been completely drained of its liquid. This is a safety hazard that could have stranded my daughter as she sometimes drives to Houston which is about 30 miles away. I researched this code and found that the NHTSA has previously issued notices on these problems. We need help getting it resolved.Car is available for inspection.

Since my original lease of my 2015 Toyota Yaris SE from Hanlees Hilltop Toyota in January 2015, both the front and rear bumpers have continually come unfastened. This was described as a known defect by two employees at this location: Tito Anopol (phone [XXX] ) and [XXX] (phone [XXX] ). [XXX] noted the roof trim was also notorious for coming unfastened. He removed the top inlets from the roof exterior, helped replace them with OEMs, yet they still flew off the vehicle on the freeway. On August 29, 2023, the service team at Hanlees Hilltop Toyota verified the tabs on the bumpers are broken, and are even saying they cannot guarantee they will be able to properly install new parts if I order them from here, and are trying to refer me to a body shop? The rear axle has failed due to corrosion. Loss of right rear wheel assembly was narrowly avoided. Noticed the wheel was squatting oddly and upon inspection the wheel assembly was nearly removed by hand.
