Due to a supplier concern, which has since been resolved, the rear coil springs may have an indentation on the coil spring. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PM977 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to inspect both rear coil springs and, if necessary, remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action: ⢠Dealers may order parts, if needed, via DBS. Most vehicles will not require parts replacement. ï§ Dealers may begin ordering parts via normal parts ordering process on April 16, 2021. NOTE: Parts replaced under this activity will be placed on parts return. Monitor the Warranty Parts Return Website located at NNAnet.com for notifications. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle.

SummaryEngine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign Dealer Announcement: Nissan has reclassified the previously announced quality action (PM968) for new vehicle inventory as a Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 846 specific 2021 Versa (N18) vehicles equipped with Manual Transmission and identified in Service Comm. Due to a program logic concern, a malfunction indicator light (MIL) for the coolant temperature sensor may illuminate unnecessarily while the engine is warming up. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PM970. 2.Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. â¢New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 3.Dealers should use NTB21-015 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4.Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. SummaryPREVENT FRONT AXLE THREAD DAMAGE DURING NUT REMOVAL SERVICE INFORMATION If an Applied Vehicle needs to have a front axle nut removed, for any reason, the staking of the nut into the axle keyway must first be removed. The essential tool (part number # J-52982, Figure 1) required to remove the nut staking, is called out as a âCape Chiselâ in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), and must be used to prevent thread damage to the axle (see Figure 2 on page 2). ï· The Cape Chisel arrived at dealers in December of 2020. ï· Damaged threads, due to improper removal of the stake placed in the nut, will not be covered by warranty. For information on using the Cape Chisel, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT > LH/RH.

SummaryDTC B12A3-72 FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY STUCK OPEN SERVICE INFORMATION DTC B12A3-72 (Fuel Pump Relay Stuck Open) may be stored when the IPDM monitor circuit internally sees 0V to ground at pin #46. This is caused by an internal short to ground in the IPDM or one of the IPDM fuses listed below is open. If B12A3-72 is current or reoccurs after erasing DTCs, inspect the model specific fuse first. If the fuse is not open replace the IPDM. ï· Altima â Fuse # 58 (page 2) ï· Kicks â Fuse # 54 (page 3) ï· Versa â Fuse # 61 (page 4) For additional IPDM diagnostic information refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM): Section ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL > POWER CONTROL SYSTEM > IPDM E/R.
