Summary2021 MAXIMA AND ROGUE, 2020-2021 TITAN AND TITAN XD; TELEMATICS (IVC) SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION The vehicles listed under APPLIED VEHICLES that come equipped with a factory installed SOS switch, located near the overhead map lamp, also come equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active NissanConnect Services⢠subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. This bulletin contains important service procedures that must be performed properly in order to set up and maintain the telematics/in-vehicle communications (IVC) system for the vehicles listed under APPLIED VEHICLES. ï· A table has been provided, on the next page, that lists the steps required to successfully configure a TCU after it has been replaced. ï· A check-off sheet has been provided in this bulletin to print and check off steps as they are completed. Staple the completed check-off sheet to the repair order.

Summary2020-2021 TITAN/TITAN XD; TCM COMMUNICATION ERROR CAUSING A NO START CONDITION IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states the engine will not crank and will not start. (The incident may be intermittent.) And There is a U0101 DTC (Lost Comm TCM) in the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and/or the Shifter Control Unit (SCU). This DTC may be in a PAST or CURRENT status. Or The TCM shows âUNKWNâ in the PRESENT column or â0â in the PAST column under the CAN DIAG SUPPORT MNTR tab within the ECU (ENGINE) or the SCU (SHIFT) in CONSULT-III PLUS (C-III plus). See Figure 1 and Figure 2.

Summary2020-2021 TITAN/TITAN XD; HEADLAMP TURN SIGNAL BULB INOPERATIVE SERVICE INFORMATION When a âfront combination lampâ (headlamp) turn signal is found to be inoperative, first check the bulb for an open filament. If the bulb filament is open, only replace the bulb and do not replace the headlamp assy. ï· Headlamp replacement for this issue is subject to chargeback, and applies to both the halogen and LED headlamp. NOTE: Figure 1 is of a halogen front headlamp. The LED version is similar and has the turn signal bulb in the same location.

SummaryTELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT RESET AFTER AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION SERVICE INFORMATION The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) has the ability to send an automatic collision notification when the vehicle is involved in an accident. Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled. The TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function. This bulletin describes how to reset the TCU after an automatic collision notification has been performed.
