Summary2018-2019 SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; ENHANCED DIAGNOSTIC LOGIC FOR CVT IF YOU CONFIRM The customer reports a transmission judder (shake, shudder, single or multiple bumps or vibration), hesitation on acceleration, lack of power, or RPM flare. NOTE: ï· A new diagnostic logic has been established to enhance the diagnostic process by storing a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) on Applied Vehicles. ï New DTCs: P17F0, P17F1, P17F2, P17F3, P17F4 will not turn the MIL ON. ï New DTC P0868 will turn the MIL ON. ï· This new diagnostic logic will monitor conditions in the CVT while the customer is operating their vehicle in their usual daily drive patterns. ï· If any of the above DTCs are stored, refer to NTB20-035 (Sentra) or NTB20-036 (Versa Sedan and Versa Note) for repair information. ACTION 1. Confirm the current TCM part number. 2. Reprogram the TCM, if applicable

SummaryEngine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the engine control module (ECM) with countermeasure software in certain vehicles. The current software installed may allow the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid valve diagnosis to continue to draw current when the engine is off. This condition may result in a reduction of the battery life. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.Ds: ï· PC734 â Titan, NV Passenger Van ï· PM940 â Sentra, NV200, NV200 Taxi ï· P0A05 â GT-R, Armada ï· - New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DCS (Sales->Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information 2. Dealers are requested to repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB20-021 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealer should submit the warranty claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

The Engine Control Module (ECM) will be inspected, and reprogrammed if it applies. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification numbers PC734, PM940, and P0A05 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

SummaryEngine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram California Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign on approximately 104,221 specific Nissan vehicles identified in Service Comm and currently registered to owners in the state of California to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) in the event that a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) for P0448, P0101, P2008, or P0087 is recorded in the ECM. Due to calibration errors on the affected vehicles, the ECM may improperly store a permanent diagnostic trouble code (P-DTC) even though the emissions on-board diagnostic system is functioning properly. As of July 1, 2019 the State of California has implemented a revised Inspection Maintenance (I/M) or âSmog Checkâ test program. Without the software update, the subject vehicles may not pass this Smog Check test in those areas of California where such testing is required under state law. This incident has no effect on the safety, performance, drivability, or fuel consumption of the applicable vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1.
