NISSAN SUBFRAME DESIGN IS VERY UNSAFE. THEY HAVE MANUFACTURED A COMMON PROBLEM IN AÑMOST ALLL NISSAN ., THE FRONT SUBFRANE WASHERS ARE HOLD IN THE SUBFRAME UNDER PRESSURE., BAD BAD IDEA THATS NOT SAFE .TIRES AND SUSPENSIN ARE SUBJECT TO MAXIMUN VIBRATION AND HITS BY THE ROAD AND THOSE WASHERS CAN NOT HOLD THOSE IMPACTS. .TIME MAKE LOOK THEM FOOL, DECADENT ,UNSAFE BECAUSE THEY COME OUT OF PLACE ONE BY ONE COME OUT FROM THE SUBFRAME .,THE RESULT IS LOST OF WHEEL CONTROL.,.TRAC SYSTEM ON .,LIMB MODE TRANSMISSIION ACTIVES . MY CAR MAKES SUDDEN PULLS ..,TO RIGHT OR LEFT ..,I MUST BE VERY CAREFUL CARS BOTH SIDES OF ME NOT TO HIT THEM .,THE COST TO REPAIR THIS HORRIBLE MANUFACTIRED PROBLEM BORDER $2000 ., I MUST TAKE ALL PRECAUTIONS NECESSARY TO AVOID ACCIDENTS ON MY ONLY VEHICLE. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, STEERING, SUSPENSION
The car driver side window door leaks water into the driver side floor near where the legs go. The floor is always wet has Mold on it. Mirror above driver side has mold on it. Seatbelts throughout the car have accumulated mold on them. Behind the driver side that rug is wet soaked as well. The water has traveled to the left side of the vehicle is now getting moist. The trunk never shuts there’s an electrical issue with the wiring. As I drive the trunk opens and shuts not completely but unlatches allowing the trunk to swing open. The electrical issue with the trunk has drained my battery several times. The notification of the door door being open is constantly draining my battery. I have been stranded several times due to this electrical issue. As I drive the steering wheel tilt to the right I cannot control my steering. My steering wheel now looks like it’s out of place it’s like if I try to drive straight the car will go slight right. I have three toddlers who I need to drive to daycare in order to go to work to provide for my family. I do not feel safe driving this car. I went to a Nissan dealership informed them of all these issues in my concerns that I did not feel safe driving this car and they said there was nothing I could do about it unless I paid for the fix. As a consumer defect I do not feel I should be responsible for the manufacture errors

COMMUNICATION: AUTO CRASH NOTIFICATION, AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:DRIVER CLOCKSPRING/SPIRAL CASSETTE
The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to make a left turn, the steering wheel lost connection with the driver’s side air bag. The warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the faulty spiral cable needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact then stated that upon starting the vehicle, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the crash zone sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 124,000.

Lack of power under acceleration when driving upgrade hills. Engine RPMs increases but vehicles did not accelerate and stayed at about 40 mph in highway (with whining noise and oil smell). On the way back home, same thing happened when stopped at a traffic light, vehicle would not move with engine RPMs increases.

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Roque. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, there was an unknown noise coming from the driver's door. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact pulled over safely, and there was a consistent locking sound coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under recall due to water leakage. The contact's friend drove the vehicle to the residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer and diagnosed. The dealer repaired the door lock, actuator, and door handle; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 32,775.

After about 1.5 hours of highway driving, the car suddenly started slowing down even with cruise control. When I exited, car shuddered and became sluggish at the STOP sign. I was afraid I would get hit behind on the highway. This is a transmission problem that has occurred multiple times in the last 16 months and is worsening. About 15 months ago, we changed the transmission fluid, which improved things but for only 8-9000 miles. Now it is worse than before.

The contact stated while driving at approximately 60 MPH, he heard a strange whining noise then the vehicle inadvertently started to shutter, shake, and vibrated. The contact also stated that the RPM increased and was stuck. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the CVT transmission failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 102,000.

When you drive highway speed for 45 mins it will drop your speed to about 45 you can't accelerate there is no power to get back up to speed and if you pull over and stop you can't go anywhere for a while. It is very unsafe ad this has happen to me in heavy traffic.

Hi there, question. I own a 2013 Nissan Rogue and the passenger side airbag will not work because the sensor on the passenger seat is not working. So when a person seats on the passenger seat, the airbag is not active. I have contacted Nissan and they have informed me that the part is no longer available. I am sure I am not the only person who has this issue. How can I report this so that Nissan can take action on fixing this issue? Thanking you in advance. [email protected]

POWER TRAIN
When driving the car it will start to slow down though i hit the gas it doesn't do anything, I have to try to find a safe place to pull over and not get hit by another car while doing so. If I stop and wait it will sometimes get better, but it started doing it more often so I stopped driving it. I'm usually driving in town on flat roads when it happens. There are no warning lights coming on, the engine temp gauge doesn't show overheating. If I put the transmission in neutral I can push the gas pedal and the RPM increases but not when the transmission is in gear. The battery is fine and has no starting issues. I have checked fluid levels and they are full.

POWER TRAIN
Initially had transmission(Control valve) repaired/replaced in 2018 due to it stopping suddenly while on the highway. Gradually I began noticing it start to shudder(in particular while in drive but stopped), slow to accelerate and felt like it wasn't "catching" when hitting the gas and then jerks forward. Check engine light came on last week(Code P1740) and was informed it was the transmission and valve circuit again.

The airbag light on the console has been flashing for some time. I took it into the dealership, and they first replaced the airbag module. That has not resolved the flashing light so now they want to replace the clock spring. I am concerned that since the 2014 model has recalls concerning airbags, the 2013 might also have problems that fall under a recall category. I do have repair receipts, should you need additional information.

The airbag light is flashing on off in a repeat pattern continuously. Mileage is about 75,000. Attempts to reset it using the key switch on-off method have not been successful. I see other owners have filed complaints of similar nature. Taking it to dealer for evaluation and subsequent repair if any. However wanted to report the problem in case this is a widespread occurrence with other owners also

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 60-70 MPH, for approximately 30 minutes, the RPM revved up however, the vehicle started decelerating independently and was making abnormal whining sounds. There was no warning light illuminated. The accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond and continued to decelerate. The contact veered to the side of the road for a moment. The contact continued driving however, the failure reoccurred after driving for 30 minutes. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that she needed to pay for a diagnostic test and repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
