Summary2021 ROGUE; REMOTE ENGINE START SERVICE INFORMATION To use the Remote Engine Start (RES) feature, the following conditions must be met: ï· The RES has been turned ON using C-III plus. ï Enabling/disabling RES is no longer available as a combination meter selection. ï· The ignition is OFF. ï· The shift selector is in the âPâ (park) position. ï· The hood, doors, and hatch are closed. ï· The hazard warning lights are OFF. ï· The Intelligent Key is within 197 feet (60 m) of the vehicle, and there are no obstructions between the Intelligent Key and the vehicle. ï· The vehicle is already locked (this must be done using the Intelligent Key or the request switch on the exterior door handle).

This tag puts instructions on the operation of the newly designed electronic shifter conspicuously right at the driverâs hand. Further detailed instructions are available in the Quick Reference Guide and Ownerâs Manual. Vehicles manufactured after mid-December will have the hang tag in place. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC779 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. ⢠Dealers will receive one (1) hang tag for every affected vehicle in dealer inventory via FedEx. Tags will be sent to the Service Managerâs attention. ï§ Hang tags will begin mailing January 22, 2021 and should arrive no later than January 29, 2021. ⢠If replacement tags are needed, please send your request to: ï§ [email protected] along with your dealer name, address, VIN, contact name and phone number. 3. Due to a design issue, that has since been corrected, Nissan has determined that the break-in process was not properly completed on the subject vehicles. As a result, customers may experience a vibration felt through the floorboard while making a ninety (90) degree turn. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. P0A33 â¢New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified by using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information â¢Some vehicles may still be in transit. ACTION IMPORTANT: The AV control unit for the applied vehicle is new, different from the previous model year, and requires a new procedure when replacing.
