  When the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) replacement is necessary due to a failure, use MDARS to activate the new TCU after replacement. Use the information in this service alert to initialize the new TCU until the procedure on MGSS is updated.. CAUTION: DO NOT swap TCU with another vehicle as the TCU is VIN locked after activation. A TCU swap with another vehicle will disable Connected Services on both vehicles. If TCU activation is not performed, connected vehicle functions will not operate. This will have a negative impact on the customer because they will need to return to the dealer for repairs.

  When folding down the rear seat back, there is a possibility that the seat belt buckle may cause a dent on the rear seats. This occurs because the buckle is stored too low on the belt, pressing it between the seat back and the seat bottom. The buckle stop button was moved 100mm upward to reduce the chance this will occur.

  When the power windows are operated many times without being fully closed, small errors of the window position sensor may accumulate and cause improper operation of the jam-safe function. To reduce the risk of this occurrence, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting). If the power window is fully closed before the 10th time, the counting restarts and the AUTO function is not deactivated.

  Some customers may experience the following symptoms of the wireless charger (Qi), even when the mobile device (smartphone etc.) is placed in the proper position on the wireless charger (Qi). - It does not start charging. - Soon after starting, it stops charging with the indicator flashing in red. - Soon after starting, it stops charging without any visible sign. These symptoms may be caused by improper control software of the wireless charger (Qi). To eliminate these concerns, the specification of the wireless charger (Qi) has been modified.   MNAO has recently found an increase in non-returned cores within the United Radio (UR) exchange program. As a reminder, dealers have 90 days, after the order is placed, to return the exchanged part. Failure to return the exchanged part will result in a debit of the full component price. It is highly recommended to set a calendar reminder at the time of the order for no more than 60 days to ensure all orders are returned if repaired and if not repaired, contact the customer to cancel the order and return the unit.
