Some examples are: axle shaft nuts with stake collar, cotter pins, washers with locking tabs and other similar hardware, including threaded fasteners with pre-applied ?thread-locking adhesives.? It is critical for technicians to be aware that ALL such locking fasteners, regardless of type, are for ?one time use? only.

It is important to note that the head units in these vehicles contain a modem and should NOT be swapped between vehicles under any circumstances. Swapping a head unit from one vehicle to another may result in a non-operational UVO eServices on one of the vehicles. If a head unit needs to be replaced, the factory recommendation is to always order a replacement head unit to ensure proper eServices operations using the new installed/replaced head unit.

SummaryPITSTOP: HVAC VENTILATION LOGIC OPERATION - Starting with 14MY Soul (PS) (with the exception of PSEV) and complete new models such as K900 (KH), Sedona (YP), Sorento (UMa), Optima (JFa), Sportage (QL), and 17MY Forte (YD, YDm), etc., equipped with a sunroof, a ventilation logic has been applied in order to prevent exhaust gases flowing into the vehicle due to the pressure difference (inside vs outside) that is generated when driving with the sunroof open. This logic allows the system to automatically switch from RECIRCULATION to FRESH mode when the sunroof is open.

REFER TO THE INCLUDED TABLE FOR DETAILED INFORMATION ON COMPONENT REPLACEMENT BY MODEL. IF YOU SUSPECT A PLUGGED EXPANSION VALVE, THE INLET SCREENS CAN BE CLEANED. IF THE VALVE IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH AN INLET SCREEN AND IS RESTRICTED, THE EXPANSION VALVE MAY ALSO NEED TO BE REPLACED.

Use of the headlights in AUTO mode over time may result in increased electrical resistance of the contact points, which in turn may affect the operation of the Electronic Control Unit located inside the Multi-Function Switch. If this occurs, the headlights may flicker and/or intermittently turn off while driving. To correct this condition, follow the procedure outlined in this bulletin. Before conducting the procedure, verify the vehicle is included in the list of affected VINs.

DUE TO HYDRAULIC PRESSURE VARIANCE AT THE TIME OF TRANSMISSION AND SOLENOID PRODUCTION, SHOCK OR SHIFT DELAY MAY OCCUR DURING GEAR SHIFT AFTER REPLACEMENT. IN RESPONSE TO THIS PRESSURE VARIANCE, THE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE IS RECORDED IN A BAR CODE FORMAT AND AFFIXED IN THE FORM OF TWO LABELS (A) ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION.
