The Honda Sensing camera in my Honda 2019 HRV malfunctioned while driving and no longer gives me the safety features of Honda Sensing. The camera does not hold a long life span it seems and Honda is not willing to help with the replacement. I think it is unfair and unsafe to allow customers to operate and use a car where the safety features will just out of nowhere disengage risking my life and my families life. The vehicle was brought into the dealership and the cost for replacement is incredibly large.

I've called American Honda's Customer Support, along with my local dealer in Arlington, VA, (Safford Brown), where I purchased the vehicle, numerous times since early November. Each time I call, I am simply told that the parts for the repair are not available and they don't know when they will be available.

I received several recall notices for the fuel pump impeller. I understand that there are no parts available to fix the vehicles’s faulty issue. However, all notices indicate a safety risk of crash or injury. I just received another notice and I can see that this recall was first reported in December of 2023. I feel that I am at risk, based on the information provided on the recall notices. Is there a limitation on the amount of time that it takes The dealership to make the necessary repairs? One year seems excessive, when a safety issue has been identified.

Early Continuous Variable Transmission belt failure at 92,000 miles on a 2017 Honda HR-V. The extended warranty for this failure only extends to 7 years after purchase or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. The vehicle has been inspected by a Honda Dealership and they have indicated that the car is not drivable and the transmission needs to be replaced for $8,500. There were no warning signs or lights. The vehicle has been regularly serviced at a Honda dealership without any missed service. My vehicle is outside the 7 year mark by 3 months and 1 day. I have concern that this is a significant safety issue and may warrant a recall given that the problem is known in early Honda HR-V models. There should have been an offer sent out to owners for a FREE inspection prior to the extended warrant expiring.

Faulty front camera sensor resulted in all ADAS systems to not work. (Auto braking, auto high beams, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control). Forums have shown that this is an issue across platforms of the HRV, and happens at different mileage of vehicle. Mine happened at around 70k miles. Repair is $1800-$2500.
