SummarySome 2021 F-150 PowerBoost vehicles may exhibit the fuel door release tappet separated from the fuel door housing, slow fuel fill, fuel spit back during refueling, a message in the cluster that states Close Fuel Door To Avoid Check Engine Light and/or diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P04B5 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to opening the fuel door without pressing the fuel door release button. Prior to following normal diagnostics, first check that the fuel door release tappet is properly installed into the fuel door and that the fuel door closes properly and opens when using the fuel door release button. If the tappet has separated from the fuel door press the fuel door release button to eject the tappet from the latch then reinstall the tappet into the fuel door by pressing it into place with features aligned with the fuel door.

SummarySome 2018-2021 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may not be able to perform remote commands via the FordPass/LincolnWay App due to an erroneous deep sleep message. If the vehicle has been driven within 14 days and the battery state of charge is above 9.5 volts when the deep sleep message set, this is an erroneous message. Starting and running the vehicle will clear the message and allow the remote commands to function again. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that will be released via an over the air (OTA) update that is expected in June 2021. Replacement or reprogramming of the telematics control unit (TCU)/gateway module (GWM) will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.

This may be due to a network interruption from programming or configuring modules, which can cause steering center find to be reset. When the steering center find is reset, this causes various features to become disabled. The steering center find can be relearned by driving the vehicle approximately 5 minutes above 18 mph (30 km/h) straight ahead on a flat surface with no steering inputs for a few seconds. When steering center is found the Reverse Brake Assist Unavailable message will go away.
