Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine may experience a Check Charging System message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). The following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) may also be stored in the powertrain control module (PCM): U012D, U042E, U0284, U0285, and/or U0645. This may be due to local interconnect network (LIN) circuit VE181 (WH-GN), near connector C102A, being shorted to ground near the left engine mount bracket. If this wire is found to be shorted, repair as need per Wiring Diagram, Cell 005 and secure the harness assembly away from the engine mount bracket to prevent a recurrence.

This may be due to APIM software. To correct the concern: 1. Perform master reset via settings > general settings > reset > master reset. 2. Make sure customer device is up to date. 3. Reboot customer device. For claiming, use causal part -14G670- and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Summary
Some 2021-2022 F-150/Bronco and 2022 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator and stability-traction control indicator when ambient temperatures are below freezing, and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1013:09 stored in the ABS module. This may be due to ABS module software parameters and the effects of low ambient temperature on brake fluid viscosity. This condition does not affect brake system hydraulic functionality. Clear the DTC to restore ABS and stability-traction control functionality and inform customers that Ford is developing a software update which will be delivered to the vehicle via an over-the-air (OTA) ABS update in November 2022 to prevent this condition.

Summary
Some 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E and F-150 vehicles may exhibit a Reverse Brake Assist Unavailable message after module programming has been completed. This may be due to a network interruption from programming or configuring modules, which can cause steering center find to be reset. When the steering center find is reset, this causes various features to become disabled. The steering center find can be relearned by driving the vehicle approximately 5 minutes above 18 mph (30 km/h) straight ahead on a flat surface with no steering inputs for a few seconds. When steering center is found the Reverse Brake Assist Unavailable message will go away.

Some 2018-2022 F-150, Expedition, Navigator, Transit, Aviator and Explorer vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P025A, P025B, P00C6, P008A and/or U0109 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to an intermittent or partial disconnect of the harness to the fuel pump control module (FPCM) connector, connector pin push-outs or loose/corroded grounds. Inspect FPCM connector, applicable grounds (F-150- G401, Expedition/Navigator- G403, Transit- G401, 2018-2019 Explorer G302, 2020-2022 Explorer/Aviator- G407) and confirm FPCM connector (F-150- C4336, Expedition/Navigator- C433, Transit- C433, 2018-2019 Explorer C3239, 2020-2022 Explorer/Aviator- C4033) is fully seated prior to performing PC/ED diagnostics or replacing any components.

In various 2017-2022 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, customers may receive a message in the FordPass or LincolnWay App stating "Feature Unavailable. Since this is a fleet vehicle, it cannot access the (SYNC Connect) FordPass or LincolnWay app through the TCU Embedded Modem. If this message appears, the vehicle may be equipped with a fleet telematics module. Replacement of the TCU or TCU related repairs will not prevent this message from appearing. Please refer the customer to in app FordPass Guides or LincolnWay Concierge Teams to aid with fleet telematics removal. Open app, select Account > Help > CHAT or CALL option

Summary
Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine and built on or before 31-Jan-2021 may experience an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostics trouble codes (DTCs) P04F0 And/Or P04EE stored in the PCM. This may be due to the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor becoming unseated from it's mount on the evaporative (EVAP) tube that connects to the top of the fuel pump and sender unit, causing an EVAP system leak near the top of the fuel tank. If the sensor is found to be unseated, resecure the sensor by pressing the sensor down vertically and retest. If the concern is resolved, the 9D683 assembly needs to be replaced due to the sensor retainers becoming weak. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-13D. For claiming, use causal part 9D683 and applicable labor operations in Section 09 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.

Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a B and OÃÂ® audio system may exhibit the rear window glass sliding panel rattling when in the open position and music is playing. This may be due to a low amount of seal extrusion pressure provided by the rear window glass sliding rail and/or the rear window glass sliding panel defroster wire harness vibrating between the two panels of glass. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to install the rear window glass sliding panel service kit.

This concern may be from the evaporator freezing up due to the evaporator temperature sensor being biased. Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles may intermittently exhibit doors unable to lock/unlock and/or difficult to open in freezing temperatures. This may be due to moisture from rain/snow entering the interior door latch lock indicator cable assembly. An updated interior door handle cable and door latch lock indicator cable assembly (front right side-15221A00 / front left side-15221A01; rear right side-1640180 / rear left side-1640181 ) has been released to prevent moisture intrusion. If this condition is experienced in freezing temperatures, the interior door handle cable and door latch lock indicator cable assembly should only be replaced, not the latch assembly. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-14. For claiming, use causal part: 15221A00, 15221A01, 1640180, or 1640181 and applicable labor operations in Section 12 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
