This may be due to an inoperative wastegate actuator, missing wastegate actuator e-clip or non-visible damage to the actuator rod. If the diagnostic procedures lead to replacement of the turbocharger assembly, note that a lower level service component has been released K2GZ-9G488-B for Edge/Nautilus/Escape/Corsair/Bronco Sport for service to replace the actuator, actuator rod and both e-clips instead of a complete turbocharger assembly. When replacing the wastegate actuator, it is required to replace all parts included in the service kit.

SummarySome 2021-2022 Bronco Sports may exhibit a no key detected message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Reference the Owners Manual 2nd printing on page 150, and advise the customer to put the key in the middle of the tray at the forward position of the center console (back up location). This spot will allow interference free communication between the key and the vehicle's radio transceiver module (RTM) due to closer proximity of the two components. This is necessary as a result of the passive key frequencies becoming jammed or a low key battery.
