ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The back up camera is malfunctioning. It is not showing a picture at all anymore. It started right when I bought the car a year and a half ago. It was showing the picture then the picture would go away while I was backing up. It also would show the picture upside down and right side up and the picture would go off and on. Now the picture does not come on at all. I believe this should be a recall issue. I found it to be dangerous to see the picture flipping around upside down and turning off.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while pulling into the top of a driveway on an incline in 8-degree weather, the contact became aware of an abnormal odor. The contact stated that upon inspecting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the rear bumper had melted significantly and was dripping big fragments of plastic onto the ground, causing the passenger's side taillight to be pulled 1/4 inch down. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that a fee would be charged for the repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.

POWER TRAIN
The transmission failed. Yes, it is available for inspection. My safety and the safety of others were put at risk because the vehicle lost all forward propulsion as I was pulling into busy, fast moving traffic. The vehicle is pending repair at this time. There were no warning lamps or other symptoms. There was a loud pop, the rpm's immediately skyrocketed until the rev limiter was activated, and the vehicles was immediately disabled in the middle of oncoming traffic.

The vehicle was running on idle parked after being driven and on for less than 20 minutes. I started the van at 8:35. Drove away at 8:41, let it run on idle for 5 minutes, drove away, let it idle for 2 minutes at 9:04, drove away, let it idle at 9:06 and was smoking and had flames by 9:23 when we noticed it. The heat gauge didn't change, there was no indication that my engine was on fire or there was any issue. It drove fine, no smell, nothing. We have zero idea what happened other than it started in the engine compartment. Is it currently still sitting in the parking lot that it was pushed to away from the building as to not cause more damage to the building. It was sitting outside a building, so everyone inside and outside were in the area of smoke and flames. There is not a police report, but there is a fire report. I can email that over if needed. I'm still waiting for the fire marshalls final report. I also have active videos of it with flames shooting out of the engine and from under the hood if needed that I can email over.

I have a cylinder 2 misfire a common problem my vehicle needs a cylinder head and my car just turned 80,000 which Stellantis said my warranty was up at 80,000 so they won't help at all this is the second caravan that I've had this happen to please help I'm a disabled Veteran and Stellantis won't help at all I'm on a fixed income and can't afford the fix

My 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT driver side sliding door is jammed shut and locked. I took it to 2 dealerships near me and both want almost $1000 per door to fix. The actuator is out and they said the loud noise when opening and closing the passenger side sliding door is a sign that door is also about to go out. My VIN doesn’t fall into the recalls. This seems like it is a hazard. If both doors indeed get stuck then how do you get car seats in and out? Isn’t it dangerous if other kids have to climb in and out the front doors? I’m so confused how this isn’t a recall when it will be dang near impossible to move car seats and kids through front doors or even moving 3rd row to get in and out and put back up for it to be sat in. What do you do in event of a crash if you can get kids out? Please help! This has been going on since March 2024.

My airbag light goes on intermittently. I have no idea why. I took it to an independent repair shop and they said that they could not help me, I needed to check with the dealer to see if there was a recall. I checked for recalls, and there was no recall. Additionally, the tire pressure sensors also turn on intermittently even when tire pressure is correct.

The contact owned a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, when a vehicle pulled out in front of her vehicle she swerved to the left to avoid the vehicle and crashed into a vehicle that was stopped for traffic on the road. The contact's vehicle front driver's bumper, grill, and headlight had crashed into the stopped vehicle's passenger side rear bumper and wheel well. The contact stated the police and EMS were on the scene. None of the air bags deployed. The contact stated that she complained about pain in both her collarbones and pain in both her knees. The contact was examined by the EMS, but declined to be transported to the ER. The contact had her vehicle towed back to her residence. The vehicle was inspected by her insurance provider and was declared a total loss. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

ISSUE: sliding door lock actuators seize and lock the door. Only way to unlock is to take completely apart the inside door panels, motors, cables etc etc, it's hell. This is definitely a safety issue.

10/2020 - Bought this van at Findlay Honda in Henderson, relied upon Carfax report provided by the dealer that No Manufacture Recalls Reported to Carfax. Vehicle Qualifies for the Carfax Buyback Program. [XXX] - @ around 1am I was driving at [XXX] towards [XXX] when the van lose power and was forced to parked near a safety zone. Waited out for an hour and was able to arrived home safely. 02/24/24 - Called Findlay Honda about the incident but was told it was not covered by an extended warranty. Was told to call Towbin Dodge Henderson. The van was towed by Agero Towing to Towbin Dodge for diagnosis. 02/29/24 - Towbin Dodge Henderson confirmed that the Automatic Transmission failed and must be replaced and fix for $8,100+ coz it's no longer covered by a manufacturer's warranty for driving 60,298 miles. The vehicle was not inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives. [XXX] - I noticed a dashboard warning to change oil so I went to a mechanic friend for change oil that day. Went back to mechanic on 02/21/24 because the warning for change oil still popping up. Ask to check the transmission oil and showed me the oil level is proper and color is red. The contact stated that the vehicle lost automotive power before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the transmission was faulty and needed to be replaced. The transmission was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 260,000.

Transmission pump failure. Same issue as previously recalled models from 2013-2017. Transmission failed while driving. Vehicle will no longer shift. Vehicle is maintained properly and up to date on all other repairs/maintenance. Code pulled at mechanic is P1790. No response from Dodge. Any interaction is either ended by their representative disconnecting or rerouting me to a department that has no clue what to do.
