Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Dodge Journey, Charger and Durango, RAM 2500, 3500, 3500 Cab Chassis (more than 10,000lb), 4500 Cab Chassis and 5500 Cab Chassis, Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300, 2014-2019 RAM 1500, 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger, 2015-2017 Chrysler 200, 2016-2018 RAM 3500 Cab Chassis (less than 10,000 lb), 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica and 2018 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These vehicles are being recalled to address a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles manufactured December 9, 2015, to January 14, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the left front brake caliper may crack due to being made from an incorrect material.
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles manufactured June 12, 2015, to June 20, 2015. The affected vehicles may be equipped with rear lower control arms that may have been incorrectly heat treated. This may cause the rear lower control arm to fracture.
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500, 2015 Chrysler 200, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger, 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Cherokee, and Dodge Durango, and 2013-2015 Dodge Viper vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with radios that have software vulnerabilities that can allow third-party access to certain networked vehicle control systems.
Three seat belts on my 2015 Dodge Durango R/T are broken and unusable: one in each of the two second-row seats and one in a third-row seat. In all three, the retractor no longer retracts, so the belt will not tighten or hold a passenger securely. I first noticed the problems in early August 2026, at the same time as a failure of the driver’s seat belt. The driver’s belt has since been repaired under a safety recall. Safety risk: With these belts inoperable, passengers in those seats cannot be properly restrained. In a crash or sudden stop, they would be at serious risk of injury or death. I have two children who normally ride in the second row, and I am currently unable to transport them safely in this vehicle. The Durango is my family vehicle, so this affects our daily routine as well as our safety. Dealer confirmation: I could not get a service appointment until September 28, 2026, over a month after I first reported the problem. At that visit, Fitzgerald Automotive in Hagerstown Maryland, confirmed the driver’s belt failure, ordered the recall part, and sent me home with the vehicle with the driver’s belt still inoperable. I drove it that way until the part arrived and the repair was completed on [XXX]. The dealer did not identify the second-row belt failures, and I had to ask them to re-inspect the vehicle. They then confirmed the second-row belts were also broken. The dealer tried to order the replacement parts for the second row seatbelts. Parts availability: The dealer reports that Mopar has no replacement parts in stock and cannot give an estimated availability date. I also contacted Mopar/Stellantis customer care on [XXX], and they assigned a specialist named Phil under case number [XXX] to initiate a nationwide parts search. As of [XXX], the specialist has said there is nothing to update, and no ETA has been provided. The second- and third-row belts have now been inoperable for about three months. Inspection by others: Dealer only INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced frequent taillight failures. While researching the failure online, the contact learned that the failure was due to water entering the improperly sealed taillight housings. The contact associated the failure to an extended warranty that excluded the model year. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.

First we smelled a light burning smell from the vehicle while driving then the blower motor blew a fuse. The fuse was replaced immediately and we started the vehicle to try to get back home. We then got a dash alert on the vehicle saying that the rear passenger side tail lamp and turn signal was out and at that point our headlights went out while we were driving in the dark trying to get home. We almost crashed. Finally we found a place to pull off the road and at this point I checked the volt meter on the vehicle and it was rapidly surging and twitching up and back down to 14. Kind of flickering. We shut the vehicle off because we could smell something hot. I looked under the hood and the main braided ground wire that attaches the motor to the car body was completely gone. Burned to a powder like a blown light bulb filament and the fuse box under the hood was too hot to touch. It could have easily caught fire on us while driving or could have easily killed up when the lights went out. We called for someone to come pick us up and had to abandon the vehicle at this point. Today we contacted a mechanic and tow truck to come pick our vehicle up. I think this vehicle is having the same safety issue with the alternator that the previous models were having and I feel that it should be covered and fixed by the manufacturer. I will continue contacting over this matter until I get results. This put our lives in danger and were very lucky to be alive.

03/27/2026 Driver headrest popped open while I was sitting in the driver's seat in my driveway for no reason. Other than a very load bang and a headache from being struck in the head, nothing else was damaged.
