2022 Dodge Duranago I bought last March of 2025, certified preowned with 26,700 miles. As of today March 21 2026 there was water build up in the rear racetrack light. Upon starting the car the lights began flickering and the entire racetrack bar die with no light illumination at all. I could clearly see water build up in the bottom right hand corner of the light as well as water condensation on the lower left corner of the light. Many other Durango owners reported having the same issue with the dealerships not covering this.

on march 18th 2026 my vehicle was sitting in the driveway and my back windshield exploded. The glass fell outwards and not inwards. There was no cracks or anything on windshield prior to this incident. There was no one around the vehicle at the time and our cameras did not show anyone throwing anything at the vehicle. The side it exploded on was facing the sun.

- #11724254March 14, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, SUSPENSION, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
The infotainment system always reboots. The screen will stay black or frozen. The system is constantly needing to be rebooted by holding the power button until the dodge logo comes up. The back up camera gets stuck when in reverse then going to drive. The picture stays frozen in time for about 4 minutes and the rcta doesn’t work during that time. The backup camera is always delayed to convert back to standard infotainment mode.

Driver side Daytime Running Light (DLR) went out without warning. Another motorist notified me. Fixing requires the entire headlamp assembly to be replaced and the part, alone, is over $1,100.

This is a fairly new SUV and front turn signals are out. This puts me in danger of having to turn and other drivers not aware. It is not a simple bulb fix. All have to be removed. This was confirmed by a couple of independent mechanics. Vehicle has not been inspected by manufacturer. No warning lamps or messages prior to issue.

The contact owns a 2022 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that after her husband restarted the vehicle, the driver's side headlight failed to illuminate. The contact related the failure to the headlamp assembly; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.

Vehicle Fire 2021 Dodge Durango GT Blacktop AWD VIN: [XXX] On around [XXX] somewhere between [XXX]pm to [XXX]pm a fire broke out in my 2021 Dodge Durango. The vehicle was parked for the evening and had been unattended for at least4 to 5 hours. At some point during the night the vehicle caught fire from underneath the dash and did severe damage to the vehicle and will most likely be a total loss. The fire melted the dash severely and the flames reached the front windshield and interior roof of the vehicle. It appears the lack of oxygen smoldered the fire and eventually extinguished itself from all windows being closed. Multiple reports on every forum on the Day Time Running Lights both Driver and Passenger side going out on 2020 to current Dodge Durangos with less than 20,000 on most at time of complaint. It cannot be repaired, only replaced with new headlight assembly at $1200 each. I have owned three (3) Dodge Durangos. #1 2020 Dodge Durango GT Driver side DRL went out at 5500miles. It was totaled in a MVC before it could be repaired under warranty. #2 2021 Dodge Durango GT. Driver side DRL went out at 7600 miles. Dodge made an offer on it during the Covid shortage and we took the offer. #3. Current vehicle is a 2022 Dodge Durango GT Plus. Driver side DRL went out at 62,000 miles. Dodge warranty will not cover the replacement.

The contact owns a 2021 Dodge Durango. While the contact’s wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the daytime running lights became inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was alerted to the failure by another driver. The contact also confirmed the failure when the vehicle was pulled into the driveway at the residence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the running lights had failed and needed to be replaced. The mechanic referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000. The VIN was not available.

The contact owns a 2021 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the driver's side headlight failed to function as intended. In addition, the front passenger side headlight was very dim. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed, and determined that the LED ballast had failed. The contact was informed that the headlight assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.

The Driver's side daytime running light white LED strip is inoperable. After internet research this complaint is very common and similar to the tail "racetrack" light recall. Because daytime running increases visibility of vehicles on the road, this is safety related. I have since observed several late year model Durangos with this exact fault. Stelantis/Dodge/Chrysler will not warranty the fault and the corrective action is to remove and replace the entire headlamp assembly at an estimated cost of $2k parts and labor.

Drivers DRL failed within 3 yrs. This is LED and supposed to last 10-15 yrs. Extended bumper to bumper warranty won’t cover. It’s nearly 2k to fix. Risk is less visibility during daytime to other drivers. Is this led bulb, electrical, fuse, ballast? No one seems to know. 2 dealerships say have to replace entire headlight system for nearly 2k!!!

The Durango seems to have a defect that should be a recall. If you look up the issues online everyone has the same issue. It puts yourself and others at risk because you may be unaware that your light is not working properly. Please see description below that is right online: Symptoms: Water inside the housing, dimming, flickering, or total failure of the light bar. Causes: Defective sealing allows water from rain, snow, or car washes to enter the assembly. Safety Risk: The issue is subject to a class-action lawsuit (2014-2023 models) alleging the failed lights create a safety hazard. I only found out because someone was behind me and said that my lights seem to be going bad. There are forums all over with all durango's being effected. This needs to be a safety recall.

- #11717139February 10, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
After purchasing a used 2023 Dodge Durango GT, issues arose almost immediately following delivery. I took the vehicle to a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram (CJDR) dealership for inspection and service. Diagnostic scans revealed multiple stored and active fault codes, including but not limited to: U0415 / U0401 – Implausible or invalid data received from ABS / ECM / PCM B195F-12 – Power liftgate chime control circuit short to battery B15A1-00 – Active electrical fault Multiple body control, module communication, and liftgate-related fault codes The vehicle experienced intermittent starting failures, creating safety concerns including: Potential inability to move the vehicle when needed, including in traffic Risk of being stranded in unsafe locations Uncertainty regarding whether the vehicle would reliably restart after being shut off The vehicle was removed from service and sent to an authorized Dodge dealership for further diagnosis and repair. The manufacturer/dealer elected to replace a fuel line as part of the repair process to address the starting hesitation. The vehicle has been inspected by an authorized Dodge service department. No police or insurance inspections have occurred. Symptoms occurred intermittently and without consistent warning lights, including: Delayed or hesitant engine starting Requirement to press the brake pedal firmly in order to start the vehicle Intermittent electrical system fault codes retrieved during diagnostics Symptoms first appeared almost immediately after vehicle delivery. The vehicle has a documented history of multiple electrical communication faults, including body control and power liftgate chime control circuits. The selling dealer (Westside Hyundai) was unable to retrieve these fault codes, resulting in the vehicle being out of service and pairs being coordinated at their expense. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
