SummaryAccelerator Pedal Before replacing accelerator pedal, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in service manual. Make sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and accelerator pedal should not be replaced for this fault.

The process to clear the blockage message involves first cycling the ignition. 2) The vehicle must be driven on the road and pass/be passed by vehicles on both the left and right sides. After completing those steps, the blockage message will clear and the system will function as designed. Please call Zaid Almasarweh (586) 258-6771 if the previous steps do not correct the problem. If there is no response within 15 minutes, please continue with your normal diagnostic process.
