SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 12-32 dated August 2, 2012. Wheel bolt requires torque adjustment. Torque sticks, torque extension bars, and impact guns/wrenches are not approved by Audi of America, Inc., and should not be used to apply torque to wheel bolts. Always use a calibrated torque wrench to attain the correct wheel bolt torque and follow the proper wheel tightening procedure as outlined in Elsa. Proper use of a calibrated torque wrench ensures that all wheel bolts are tightened equally and reduces the chances of repeat repairs. Using methods other than a calibrated torque wrench to attain correct wheel bolt torque may lead to problems.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-77 dated September 23, 2013. Audi Lane Change Assistant deactivates or is sporadically inoperative when the vehicle is driven in slow-moving stop-and-go traffic, especially on roads with multiple lanes. The message "Audi side assist unavailable: Sensors blocked" appears in the driver information system. The system is able to be activated approximately ten minutes after the traffic condition is removed, or after an ignition cycle. DTCs are stored in the Lane Change Assistance control module. Audi Lane Change Assistant can be activated without issue. No obstructions can be found on the outside or inside of bumper. No re-work of the bumper can be found. The control module mounting brackets are securely fastened to the lower rear bumper, and no damage is found on the inside or on the outside rear bumper area. The control module mounting brackets are not broken or loose. In certain normal driving conditions, the Audi Side Assist system can automatically deactivate, and the driver information display shows the "sensors blocked" message. This is normal, as the nature of certain driving conditions can make it difficult for the Audi Side Assist system to track vehicles.

The eject buttons of vehicles without DVD-based navigation systems are not disabled during production, but could behave as described in the Condition section of this bulletin. The eject button can be enabled through Guided Fault Finding.

SummaryUnder extreme driving conditions with the A/C compressor switched off (e.g., long idle periods or extended stop-and-go traffic), high temperatures can build up in the fuel rail and may lead to fluctuations in fuel pressure, possibly causing DTC P008700 to be stored. Coolant temperature above 102?C in the freeze frame data can be an indicator of those extreme driving conditions.
